Your thoughts on Raiden?

So in japan he was pretty damn popular. Elsewhere he got a certain reputation. I personally thought he was pretty cool coz im an anime freak and he's a classic anime character. But one thing i do think contributes to his rep is the voice actors. In japan he has a badass voice actor whereas the english one sounds like a wuss. Anyway with all the seriously insane butt kicking he seems to be doing (metal gears and vamp) do you think:

He'll become more popular?

He'll be playable in the game?

There was nothing wrong with the old Raiden people hated him because he complains alot and maybe because he looks like a girl

And as if he is playable or not, I HOPE HE IS N'T i WANT TO PLAY ONLY WITH SNAKE. BUT GIVEN RAIDEN A SMALL PLAYABLE TIME WILL BE NICE.

BTW Most people I know disliked Raiden because of the fact that he took snakes place.. I had no real problem with raiden but I hated him because He was in the way of me playing as snake.

But after a while that wen't away and I thought he was annoying because he complains constantly and acts like a little **** and the skull suit makes him look anorexic.

But he looks awesome in 4 and so does vamp.he looked to much like george micheal in 2

RAIDEN RUINED MGS2 FOR ME. It was one of the biggest disappointments to me ever in a game. I actually ruined the series for me and I never played Snake Eater. Maybe I should get it now and play it before MGS4. Hmmm....adamatoms

:roll: Come on dude. It wasn't that bad. Raiden had that effective cartwheel evasive/attack move and a sword whereas Snake had a rolling move, a mullet,and some cigarettes :lol: ... and Rose ... she was that nagging girlfriend who was annoying yet sexy.

I honestly enjoyed MGS2 more than I ever enjoyed MGS3 (there I said it). The only annoyance in MGS2 was the Max Headroom-like Colonel towards the end of the game :shock:(it somehow got a little too complex for the games own good). Other than that MGS2 was a video game milestone of our generation. I suggest you play MGS3 Snake Eater and, hell, even

MGS2 before March 2008. They both were and still are great games.;)
