i found the n64 game a little boaring but sinse the new 1 will be using the unreal engine it should look good but good graphics alone dont make a game good
guys its from a different team of developers (totally different) so its a different turok than the previous ones
and it looks like its gonan kick @$$ because you cant go wrong with dinosaurs, open world exploration and awesome killing moves
but then again the game looks like other fps games. any games that uses the uneral engine suffers from that unreal look (no pun intended). Nothing will have its own flare as long as it continues to use the unreal engine. Games need their own engine and physics to actually wow the people. Euphoria and the new id engine look totally awesome (or a heavily tweaked unreal engine) but just the unreal engine makes a game "meh" because its nothing stunning we havent seen bfore.
I think it's gotten so far away from the comic that it should just be renamed to be honest. That being said, it looks okay for what it is. Time will tell though if it's worth the disc it's printed on.
The Turok games on the N64 were okay but there was way too much fog. I mean you couldnt see a few meters in the distrance because of it. If it doesnt have that fog, Id like to try it.
I used to love Turok... the last one was on the GameCube, and was a great, underrecognized game. The only MAJOR problem with that game is that it had horrible loading times, and loading times on the GameCube were practically unheard of, so having long load times really took away from the game.
I geuss we will have to wait and see how this game is, I am excited to play it though.
I think it looks GREAT! The graphics are good and I enjoyed the original games. I'm going to get it unless the gameplay is horrid - which I doubt it will be since it's an existing franchise.
