I still have yet to play Xenogears. I know, blasphemy, it was just one of those titles that got away. Absolutely loved Xenosaga though, the only RPG series that even came close to FF, imo. Would absolutely love a 4th taking place right after III, continuing the events of the ending. But alas, I fear it will stay but a dream D:

*gasp* No Xenogears?! jk, lol. You really should try to play it at some point! Yeah, the Xenosaga series was amazing, imo, but 3 was, by far, the best. Yeah more games in the series would be awesome, but like you said, I doubt it'll ever happen. :/ It's a shame, too. Had so much more potential.

I know, right? The first one was good, but like most beginnings of franchises, was a little rough. The second one's story was great, the the battle system was a bit of a chore. But the 3rd had a perfect blend and had one of the most interesting conclusions ever. Totally blew me away. And yeah, I'm gonna have to try ebay for Xenogears. Though you'd think they'd throw it on the PSN...
