Hey fellow Playstationers, I've decided to take the plunge and make some online transactions with the PSN. I'm going to buy a game/add on today or tomorrow, and you have the power to greatly influence my choice. What has been your favourite game or add on, and would you recommend it to someone with: Resistance, Motorstorm, Uncharted, The Darkness, Warhawk and Ratchet and Clank. And, I have 2 controllers. So..dish!

Biggest waste of money I ever spent. The online in Tekken is some of the worst I've ever played. Actually the worst. It sometimes took me up to 20 mins to find a game. Fighting games is a dieing genre anyway, they were fun when games were still in 2D, and co-op was the only way to play, and controllers had 2 buttons and a giant joystick, now they just suck....
Yikes, thanks, I'm glad I was steered away from that. If anything, I hate it when I can't find people to play with (The Darkness Online is the saddest Internet Space in the world.)
If you want my recommendation I don't have one, you really can't expect much from a free service. If I absolutely had to, High Stakes Poker wasn't a bad purchase but that's just because I like poker, the online is quickly dieing though...

No, Tekken is not a waste of money... You obviously have a bad internet connection because when I search for a game, it doesn't even take me a minute... This game is probably the best game you can buy on the PSN.
calling all cars is a good game. Its a great party game to play with friends and if you have a girlfriend and want to play something with her its great. Not to sure about the online i havent played it in awhile, but i used to play quite a bit and when i used to play alot of people were online and server connections were good.

With my remaining dollars (because I didn't know there was tax on these things...), I'm looking at an add-on. Does anyone have the Omega Dawn add-on or the Resistance map packs?

You should wait for COD4 map pack if you have COD4. That will be sweet.
Maybe new neo had a different experience, but Tekken 5 is amazing. Especially since you have two controls, its good to play with a friend. I haven't had a problem with online at all. You just need good connection. I know you already bought something, but just for next time!
If you plan on playing a lot more Warhowk I would definatley buy Omega Dawn, The dropship adds a lot to gameplay. In big maps when you usually only do a little fighting because the map is so spread out you run into a lot more people because the dropship makes transporting so much easier and using it as a gunship is one the coolest things you'll ever do in a videogame. The map it comes with is also really cool, it's a lot different than all the other maps and makes for a nice change of pace.
Other than that if you have Oblivion or are planning on getting it, Shivering Isles is awesome, I recently bought it and had no regrets, but only get it if you have oblivion already and its not GOTY addition, if your going to buy it just buy the GOTY additiong because it comes with Shivering Isles.
