I was wanting to get this game along time ago but I decided no to after reading the horrible user reviews here on GS. I don't really pay much attention to GS reviews but I noticed a bunch of bad user reviews and user reviews are something that I definitely go by to see whether or not I wanna get a game. I was recently told that those user reviews wereprotest to someone being let go but this thread is asking for only true opinion of the game. So how do you really feel? Was the game good, okay or as bad as everyone said it was. Thanks in advance.enomik
Most of the people making comments haven't even played it. Demos, screenshots, reviews, videos.... just try it out. It's not that bad.
I'm going through the story mode right now with a buddy of mine, and it seems pretty decent to me. The cut scenes are entertaining. The gameplay isn't perfect but it's not terrible either. They put the player in different scenarios such as bank heists, crowded clubs, chase scenes, and hostage/sniper situations. They allow you to play the story mode with a friend using split-screen, which I appreciate even though most games are doing away with split-screen modes.
I'm not saying I'm going to buy the game. But I'm going to finish it and enjoy it. After all it's way better than Stranglehold (which somehow got a 7.0).
...and they say F*** a lot, which always makes things better (like Goodfellas).
Okay so I ended buying the game used and well I didn't really feel it too good. The graphics didn't look too great and I now know what they meant when they said the game play was clumsy. I doesn't feel stable at all. It feels like the character had just woke up or was in a drunken state. Now I did like the plot, I thought it was very different in video games and kinda movie like. It wasn't the worst game ever but definitely not worth buying. Thank god there's a seven day trail period on used games. Im gonna return it and use the credit for either UT3 or a Wii.
