I didn't like the game at all, thought the gameplay (climbing parts) was very linear and boring. Tried out the multiplayer and got bored of it too. The story was decent and the graphics on the other hand looked good. I don't really think this game had good replay value for me so I sold it recently.

Campaign is great. Great story with humorous characters. I liked the multiplayer as well; it's something different because of the climbing aspect, but MW2 has taken over my online multiplayer playing time.

It was disappointing compared to the first, which I felt had a lot more heart. I found Uncharted 2 rather dull, as the puzzles were just extended platforming "wastes of time" since they gave you the answer by pressing Select to open your journal. Shameless ass shots from boosting computer generated chicks on to ladders like 50000 times. Only real purpose is to extend the play time and artificially inflate the length of the game. Yawn. I have a girlfriend. She's actually real, and she has a much better ass. Another repetitive gameplay mechanic, pushing the carts/statues/whatever. They just kept reusing things like that over and over and it just made the developers seem cheap and lazy. Endless spawns of enemies, again to only inflate the length of the game. I hated Chloe. Plain and simple. The story was pretty much ripped from the first game. Cursed treasure that turns people into monsters. Yeah, we've seen it before. I'm surprised they didn't come up with something better. Repeated lines/scenes from the first game like "they are standing right on top of the treasure vault and they don't even know it!" It was cliche in the first game, it's even more cliche now. Pacing sucked. Instead of evenly disbursing the platforming, "puzzle" (lol) and combat segments throughout the course of the game, they just clumped them all together and you got fight scenes that were just stressful and you wanted them to just end because they went on and on, followed by 4 hour long platforming/puzzle segments that just got boring (ice temple, temple in Nepal). I'm sure there's more but I can't think of any right now. Game had high production values and amazing graphics but that's about all it had going for it. There was nothing in this game we haven't seen a million times before, and it honestly just wasn't very good. Sony did an excellent job of tricking people into thinking it was game of the year just because the graphics and production values made it LOOK like a game of the year.

Contrary to popular opinion, I thought the story was terrible, but the characters more than made up for it. As for the gameplay itself-decent shooting marred by completely boring climbing segments. I don't know why the shooting in this series feels so unsatisfying to me, I think there's needs to be more blood, as there isn't any as it is, and thats just unrealistic. Set pieces were amazing though. Despite that fact that I'm criticizing it, I still loved the game, especially the first time through, though I definitely don't think its close to being worthy of a 10. I agree with GT's score, I actually would have given it around a 9.0 myself.

I thought the game was amazing but the last few chapters eally started to drag on and on. Especially the shooting parts, it just became repetitive and boring to me. I also thought that the game simply didn't have the same heart as the first title. I mean the overall package is superior but simply doesn't have the same FEEL as the first one. Although not enough jungles.-_-

The story was more involving this time around so a plus but it was still predictable. Then again the characters and voice acting made up for by a hell lot. Seriously now I just simply wish a lot more games had Nolan Norths voice.:P Depending on the context of course.

In the end, the game really does deserve the 9.6 metacritic score even though IMO it feels more like a 9.4. This game is definetely superior to any 360 exclusive I've played so far (just ahead of Shadow Complexe).

The game is fun, good characters, good story, (not great but good)... only bad point, I was expecting something much more rewarding from the final boss.

I just finished this afternoon. The longest credits but anyway. I liked it but the last few chapters seemed drawn out

Loved it, the campaign had me hooked instantly, after that I played my favorite chapters, and forgot there was multiplayer. Recently I went online though and it's really good :D no precision headshots in 0.02234567788 seconds like you get on COD, it was just fun, and because you can't spawn with whatever weapon you want the games always even.

Uncharted 2 was a great game, but had a bad ending. The end boss was easier than heck, and it's just not all that satisfying.

I absolutely LOVED it. The writing in voice acting are some of the best in the industry, and the storytelling is great. The graphics... well, everyone knows how mind-blowing they are. The setpieces are also incredible, like the helicopter chase, the train sequence, the mountains, and Shambala are all excellent. Gameplay wise, it's awesome. Gears of War, Assassin's Creed, and Tomb Raider thrown in a blender and then polished the hell up.

I thought it was a spectacular experience; the set pieces were exciting and well thought out, solid narrative and unlike may said I enjoyed the fusion of platforming, puzzles and shooting instead of the one, then the other and then the other of the first game. Yes they reused a few mechanics over and over like make some sort of ladder with a box or whatever, but its not like it happened every 2 minutes. I find it interesting that the same people who play FPS like CoD can complain about a game being linear or re-doing the same thing over and over.

I found the game to be very enjoyable. I was totally satisfied by the gameplay and difficulty, though there were some points in the game that made it too easy to beat, thankfully for the mutiplayer, it still maintains some good replay value. When MW2 came out, I took some time off from UC2's multiplayer, but when I found how dissapointing MW2 really is, I just went straight back to UC2.

Awesome game, but I don't get what with all the 10/10s everyone gives out, I'd rate a 9, for the uneven difficulty at some points.
