I didn't like the game at all, thought the gameplay (climbing parts) was very linear and boring. Tried out the multiplayer and got bored of it too. The story was decent and the graphics on the other hand looked good. I don't really think this game had good replay value for me so I sold it recently.
Campaign is great. Great story with humorous characters. I liked the multiplayer as well; it's something different because of the climbing aspect, but MW2 has taken over my online multiplayer playing time.

MW2... lol...Contrary to popular opinion, I thought the story was terrible, but the characters more than made up for it. As for the gameplay itself-decent shooting marred by completely boring climbing segments. I don't know why the shooting in this series feels so unsatisfying to me, I think there's needs to be more blood, as there isn't any as it is, and thats just unrealistic. Set pieces were amazing though. Despite that fact that I'm criticizing it, I still loved the game, especially the first time through, though I definitely don't think its close to being worthy of a 10. I agree with GT's score, I actually would have given it around a 9.0 myself.
I thought the game was amazing but the last few chapters eally started to drag on and on. Especially the shooting parts, it just became repetitive and boring to me. I also thought that the game simply didn't have the same heart as the first title. I mean the overall package is superior but simply doesn't have the same FEEL as the first one. Although not enough jungles.-_-
The story was more involving this time around so a plus but it was still predictable. Then again the characters and voice acting made up for by a hell lot. Seriously now I just simply wish a lot more games had Nolan Norths voice.:P Depending on the context of course.
In the end, the game really does deserve the 9.6 metacritic score even though IMO it feels more like a 9.4. This game is definetely superior to any 360 exclusive I've played so far (just ahead of Shadow Complexe).
The game is fun, good characters, good story, (not great but good)... only bad point, I was expecting something much more rewarding from the final boss.
Loved it, the campaign had me hooked instantly, after that I played my favorite chapters, and forgot there was multiplayer. Recently I went online though and it's really good :D no precision headshots in 0.02234567788 seconds like you get on COD, it was just fun, and because you can't spawn with whatever weapon you want the games always even.
I found the game to be very enjoyable. I was totally satisfied by the gameplay and difficulty, though there were some points in the game that made it too easy to beat, thankfully for the mutiplayer, it still maintains some good replay value. When MW2 came out, I took some time off from UC2's multiplayer, but when I found how dissapointing MW2 really is, I just went straight back to UC2.
