Zelda on ps3..

I haven't played any zelda games with any passion since the NES and SNES days. once zelda went 3d I got turned off, much like when I got turned off from the 3d castlevania games. Some games should just stay 2d.

If zelda came to the ps3, I would hope that it was something similar to the one on the SNES. Keep it isometric 2d with awesome effects.

Seriously 3d has ruined a lot of old games.

Symphony of the night was Freakin' awesome.

The legacy was continued on the GBA and DS but destroyed on the 3d consoles.

If I had my wish, Castlevania and Zelda would be done in their true 2d style on the PS3.

Metroid was the only game IMO that made the transition from 2d to 3d and hit every mark.

Zelda and Castlevania were tragedies as far as I'm concerned.

seriously... if this ever happened... they would make sooooo mcuh money it would be redonkulous... the graphics and everyhting bout it would b amazing... i mena look at assassins creed 2... some of the worlds r just insane... now put zelda twist onto it and it would b unbelievable... or even if they redid ocarina of time and redid the graphics and everything and made it for ps3... it would still b awesome and not b horrible for nintendo cuz they would b makin money on something... althought there are now quite a few games out there that look and feel like zelda along with play almost exactly like zelda.. def not the same... would love if they brought even one game and could show it with this years technology

lol, it's good to hear someone in the industry still thinks that. i haven't enjoyed a zelda since a link to the past, symphony of the night and the ds games were pretty good too but sometimes something gets lost in that transition from 2d to 3d. i think mario 64 should get props though b/c i thought they did pretty good turning that into a 3d franchise.

sometimes i long to turn on my ps3 or pc and have an old school kind of game with nice hd graphics (i was saying the other day i'd love to see an old school sprite based final fantasy game) i think games of that nature would sell pretty well and wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to produce.

im surprised nobodies mentioned 3d dot heroes coming soon :D

Not all of the 3D Zeldas were bad. OoT is still one of the best video games ever made. The problem is that nintendo just has not been able to get it right like they did with OoT. All of the other ones have been good but nothing fantastic.
