i read that zune cannot sync with the ps3 to transfer music and such. Is there anyway around this? I need a new mp3 player and this might be a problem.. i really DON'T want another ipod, can't trust them.

No, you can't directly tranfer data from a zune to a ps3. the zune is not designed to be used that way. you may want to consider media sharing from a pc over your home network. have not tried a ipod as i hate itunes.

nope, it sure DONT work. i have a zune n i tried it as soon as i got me ps3 so i could have a bunch of music on it. but no luck. i tried my gf's ipod n it worked fine tho. but i guess it shoulda been pretty obvious that the zune wouldnt work with my ps3.... since its made my microsoft.

n 2 NeoSyfte, its not the zune that is not designed to be used that way, cuz it is.... u can use it fine with a 360, all it takes is a ps3 firmware update to recognize the zune.... but we all kno that wont ever be happening

The new 80gb Zunes are awesome. With the announcement that XNA games can now be programmed for use on the Zune I see it only getting better. I love mine and apparently so do many other people considering that Zune is the #2 DAP in market share....

As far as PS3 functionality, I honestly haven't tried it. I 2nd the notion that having it simply read stuff from your wireless network (both the Zune and the PS3 can get music from your PC this way) is the best way to go since you won't be using the space on your PS3 hard drive.
