I went to the closest Electronics Boutique and the man in the Super Mario nametag, Wii necklace, and Nintendo patch over his heart behide the desk said to me that they weren't having PS3 preorders. In fact, they were only getting 3-4 consoles in. I got the same response from GameSpot. I don't know about Best Buy, but it looks like there will be about 20 PS3's in the entire 75,000 city I was in. Baaaaad news. I might have to stop at REI for some tents and a rifle if I want to get a PS3 on launch. How are you guys doing, preorder wise?
Sony better hurry up and start manufacturing it, I hope this doesn't turn out as bad as the 360 launch! I really hope we don't see £1000+ PS3's on Ebay... >_>
As for me, well I haven't pre-ordered mine yet :oops: Still seems kinda early.. I probably should get started on that though..

I live in Washington, right by where Bill Gates lives and his influence is HUGE. The 360's were swallowed up fast here and, with any luck, the PS3's shouldn't go so fast.
i heard ps3 is not goin to some places ...... While the Xbox 360 renders graphics at 1280x720 (or 720p), and Sony claims that the PlayStation 3 will render at 1920x1080 (or 1080p), the Wii will output at 853x480 (or 480p)
And then people say it's not that good. But I don't really care if people get PS3's now. They can go 360 for all I care. What I really want is to get one for myself first and then rub their nose in it. :twisted:

It was a big mistake and it doesn't really have any games I genuinely want to play on it. The online and free demos are great though, but that's not enough.
