From RWW

Only sharing this because of it's hilarity on how he's trying getting back at a popular comedian on the left. Anyone else hopes Stephen gets a field day out of this?

Otherwise, here's Stephen's ACTUAL parody (at least one of them):

I can't imagine ever watching Alex Jones. It's surprising that there are people who actually take him seriously. Wow.

Sure, and it´s not like it's all a act that makes him money.

It´s funny that people actually buy into both sides, they are just saying shit because they know it makes them have viewers. Not because they actually believe or feel like that.

Stephen Colbert understands comedy and parody.

Alex Jones clearly doesn't. He tried making a parody, only to let his personal emotions get in the way in the middle of the act.

Nope, Colbert understands how to be pathetic.

It´s a shame he didn't have the same kind of talent and intelligence as Oliver and Stewart.

The funny part is that when Alex Jones makes a parody, it's still just Alex Jones being himself.

Also, is Alex Jones going to apologise to Barron Trump for depicting violence against the his father?

You're doing that party politics thing again. Put that aside for a moment and think about what I'm telling you. For the population as a whole, eating steak is not viable. For some countries and one day our own, insects are a large source of protein. Like I said, look into it and stop towing that line.

For the record, I have my concealed carry, am usually packing, and enjoy steak.

Ok, joke aside.

Yes, i do know the environmental impact and that they have looked into alternative sources. Which is good, if people want to eat that instead , luckily we live in a free world where cows and proper meat will be on the plate for some and not for others.

Nah both are just sad.

Colbert isn't bad at all. He's just a comedian. Any act he displays (like his Colbert Report character) is honest and deliberate. He makes sure people know that is satire.

Alex Jones actually tricks people into believing HARMFUL conspiracy theories, and is all a dishonest act. Further more, as dozens of his videos show, he's behaves like an absolute raging lunatic nutcase, fake or not. He's funny to laugh at, not laugh with.

To say they are both the same is absolutely bonkers.

Alex Jones is great, he's basically the id of the American right-wing and like Milo he simply states out loud what the rest of them are thinking but dare not say.

The President has appeared on Alex Jones's show and has admitted he solicits advice from Jones. Nothing else needs to be said, really.

@tjandmia@Jacanuk: Jones makes many many good points. The problem with him is his persona and fiery way of just talking, it does come across a bit crazy to people who never listened to him before. I recommend watching this (link below), Joe keeps him in check in many ways. I might not agree with everything Jones is on about but if it wasnt for him many years ago i wouldnt be interested in any of the stuff going one last 50 years. It easy to dismiss everything labeled conspiracy theory because dismissing it means you dont need to put any effort into researching or gaining knowledge on any particular subject at hand :)

You guys do know that Alex Jones is the poster boy of right-wing fake news, don't you? He's even admitted that it's all for entertainment. I could never bring myself to even waste one minute on that horse shit.

Extremely popular?

Hmm 0.52/3 18-49 3.06m viewers for Late night with Colbert. 3.16m avg pr season. According to Nielsen.

So i would not say that Colbert is extremely popular.

Nope, Colbert understands how to be pathetic.

So you think a nomination for a emmy means that Colbert is hugely popular?

But all i have to say is this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9pOQOnkfNY

This is pathetic and in a situation where most intelligent people would have gone high , Colbert went beyond the lowest you can, and if that had been any other person on the receiving end, he would have been out of a job.

So you can take the emmys and call Colbert the next messiah if you want, the above showcase just what a person he is. A Pathetic comic who still tries to get out from under Stewarts Shadow.

Nominations AND Wins. Heh. I thought that video you posted was hilarious! Destroyed Trump! Hey grandpa,Do you need a safe space from his adult humor!?

No, I think winning and being nominated for tons of Emmy's and having some of the best late night ratings makes him far from "pathetic", which is purely your opinion. As long as you understand it's just your opinion we are fine.

@tjandmia: Well you do your own research, thats how you find out whats horseshit and what isnt. Just remember, researching into certain things takes years and sacrifice but if you starve for knowledge of the world we live in and certain agendas in the elite you will dedicate to it.

Like i said, dismissing things is for people who dont want to know or have fear of knowing. Or the old saying, ignorance is a bliss. The less you know the less you care and think about.

You cant imagine watching him. Firstly watching him for example is a guideline to your own research which you probably wouldnt dedicate time and passion into. Or you cant imagine watching him because you wouldnt put any effort into trying to understand it or probably dont understand a thing about subjects at hand. Now i dont know that because i dont know you but i did run into many people who are either way over the coarse of last 20 years. As Jones said many times, dont have to trust what i say but take it as a guidline to pursue your own knowledge.

i'll have to find that where he said he is a entertainer. Havent watched him last 2 or 3 years, maybe on occasions. The interview with Immortal Technique was great, well you probably think Immortal Tech is horseshit as well as you put it.

But in general sense of life lets be honest here, society is more ignorant and dumb than ever before, very easilly distracted from things that matter. Thats why the system and the elite can shape the world any way they see fit. The only way to think otherwise is if you are part of that.

Thats pretty much all i got to say on this.

I will agree that the 36% of the country who support Trump are dumber than ever, but most of the country just isn't.

Hilarious? well no surprise since it was trump being the target, But that was just pathetic and made him seem like a nutcase.

What is hilarious tho is that you use emmy's as a argument in a subjective debate and somehow think that makes him something special. Clearly it doesn't and when only around 3m watch the sucker, where 0.5 is in the all important age demographic, i think it´s save to say that he is no more funny then a local drunk.

@Maroxad: I don't know. I think people are losing skills and intelligence and relying to much on tech rather than themselves. They have the ability to google info though.....but I don't think that makes them more intelligent.

Well in your opinion. He has among the highest late night talk show ratings and has so many emmy noms/wins it's amazing!

Yes of this current generation of late night show but not by much. Compared to other late night show hosts and the guy who´s spot he got, had a lot higher ratings.

But let´s agree to disagree about Colbert and if you enjoy his rants and cheap laughs then all power to you. Luckily we live in a free world and where tv is becoming more and more obsolete.

To be fair though the way people watch entertainment has changed a lot so less ratings are expected.

I know I'm just saying he has great ratings for his the genre and has won tons of awards, and is in no way actually dangerous unlike Jones.

Looked up the stats and John oliver´s video had more than 50mil pageviews on Facebook , So that is the way to watch these days.
