Ohio-based attorney Joni Turner and others are planning to file a class action lawsuit against the discredited media giant CNN for “fake news, defamation, targeting, and bullying.”

In a video published to YouTube on Aug. 20, Turner said that such action has “never been done before” and will require four to five thousand people.

To make it work Turner plans on using “menacing” and “cyberbullying” laws to go after the so-called “bonafide news organization” in federal court and ultimately the Supreme Court.

Then Fox and countless other right wing "actual fake news" publications should expect even bigger law suits?

I see no issues with this, If a news channel is misdirecting or misinforming on purpose then they should be sued. There should however be a thorough investigation, to see if the charges are true.

And yeah this applies to any news network, FOX included. I do however find it disturbing that if one news channel is threatened by this, the "wing" that said news channel belong to (and that they are perceived to belong to a wing in itself is disturbing). Will point fingers at others. In truth all news sites should be expected to report what happens, striving for accuracy. I really don't understand why the US allows for so clearly biased media. All news channels have a leaning, but in the US it seems more like WW2 propaganda machines currently.

Yep. Anyway you can file a lawsuit for anything. Doesn't mean they have merit. Should have gone after Fox........they'd have won that one for sure.

they have multiple class action lawsuits filed against them. They get away with their BS because they call their news, the "opinion segment" bahaha. That's what you get with fancy lawyers. CNN should do something similar to get around the fake news label.

What about we just say both should be closed and while we are at it, include NBC as well.

A CNN crew saved a guy last week in Texas (more than one instance actually).
