@zaryia: "Do you have a report or study that shows the 2020 Trump vs Biden debates were in general biased against Trump?"

He was likely asked not to stalk and walk on the heels of his opponent on stage during those debates. Totally one sided affair. =P

Rofl. Cons are so silly.

Biden had an ear piece to get anwsers.

Yup, and Hilary got debate questions asked the night before, no such courtesy was given to any of her opponents, and let's not forget the loaded questions that go something like "Hillary, how does it feel to be the first woman president?" "Trump, why do you hate women?" Or Chris Wallace demanding Trump denouncing white supremacy, something he has never endorsed before and had denounced dozens of times prior, including in front of Chris Wallace himself in prior interviews, in a manner to suggest he has some kind of problem with doing so. Yet, Joe Biden has never been asked to denounce segregation, after he has come out in praise of segregationalists and let's not forget his "I don't want my children to go to school in a racial jungle" comments.

At this point, people who pretend there has not been any bias are being intentionally obtuse, and trying to justify one side bending the rules to gain an advantage.

Well said, and you can literally watch the old debates and watch this unfold. Yet you will have clowns on here demand a study as proof 😅😅😅.

Don't forget the countless times the media misquoted Trump on the border and allowed Democrats to misquote him . They will force you into a false position and then make you defend it.

Aah, they know the truth, it's just a case of they seeing it as getting what they want out of it so they turn a blind eye to how it was achieved. Like Patriots fans pretending their team didn't cheat when they know they did.

@HoolaHoopMan: lol, and now you wonder why the Republicans don't want to debate on stage and argue bs with the left. Not only do you give out rigged questions aka 2016, by softballs Hilary and loading questions against trump, you even bribe the moderators. Funny how Chris Wallace got hired by CNN a few years later 🤣. Guess CNN paid him off to rig it and hire him 5 years later to try and make it look legit.

I don't wonder, I know why the GOP doesn't debate, for the same reason you can't reasonably respond to actual outcomes of policy you support. They're cowards that acknowledge that they favor a system that will force women to give birth to children of rape, or take a potentially life ending pregnancy to term.

All cowards, just like you. At least f*cking own the outcomes of your horrid political positions. But please keep up with the diversionary bullsh*t narrative of Trump and GOP leaving due to bias.

Provide citation or please stop thinking your subjective thoughts are reality or construed as anything near "truthful" by anyone with a rational thought process. Both men were asked tough questions, you're just crying.

Link that Democrats cheated in the 2020 debates?

Wow you've veered into tin foil hat theory. Bribes are paid when the work is done. Not years later. This is sad.

they pre bribed him. Obviously they won't hire him right after the debate, otherwise it would look suspicious. Just ask chris cuomo and the other corrupt people having affairs with their workers at CNN how things are done. CNN played it smart on this, waited 5 years before hiring him. We all knew back in 2016 it was going to happen, there was absolutely no surprise there.

Tin foil hat time and you doubled down.

There are even professors out there who refuse to use pronouns for any transgender studens of theirs outside of their traditional biological sex, and these professors are WINNING in COURT because whatever the students are asking are directly going against the teachers religious freedoms.

Also Im not going to derail this thread with IP. Both parties are obviously strongly in favour of disgusting IP laws. So the question on the economy is which party is better. On top of both parties being in favour of the disgusting IP laws (which is nothing more than a huge disguised TAX on the middle class), both parties also have no problems with spending tax payers money like they're at a strip club. In this case, the left are more responsible than the right on the economy. Trump may have been a decent president, but that doesn't excuse the fact he spent almost 10 trillion in 4 years, the ridiculous spending on his security detail, the trips to mar a lago. There is no tax payer out there that would be happy about the free spending ways of either party.

How does 2 strangers getting married infringe on your or anyone else's religious freedoms?

And like I said, rather than bringing up IP protections in every thread, like you did here, why dont you create a thread about it? Like I have done with my pet issues.

Why did they do the 2020 elections if that one 2016 scandal was the reason of these 2024 departures?

Weird. Nonsensical. Sounds like a made up excuse you guys just came up with.

Also how did Wallace rig? Be specific, show proof.

it doesn't infringe on my freedoms. As I said before, it doesn't matter to me one way or another who anyone marries. But its true that many communities are very religious and traditional and don't want these kinds of things in their community. You can call it discrimination, but end of the day religion is a constitutional right. So theres going to be clashes with communities that are very traditional. Again, I have no issue with gay people, but im telling you the way it is.

I barely brought up IP...it seems you're the one who wants to discuss it. I don't feel like making a thread about it. IP is one facet, but theres also things such as the free and easy spending of tax payers money while racking up the debt.

If it doesnt affect anyone's religious freedom, then why bring religious freedoms up?

Just because someone has the right to, doesnt change the fact that they are still very wrong. People have the right to be creationists, but no matter how much they may wish for it. It should NOT be taught in schools, except for maybe a side note in religious studies class.

You are free to believe in the religion of your choice. You are not free to dictate your choice on others. And I say that as a Catholic. So don't me about your religion.

well, it looks like the courts are disagreeing with you. Court forces school to pay $400k to professor for refusing to use gender identity pronouns

The courts say that its illegal for a school to force teachers to do something that goes against their own religious beliefs. You know who gets to decide what is right and wrong? The winner does. Just look at the ukraine war. We are sanctioning the shit out of russia, even though we invaded iraq on trumped up illegal charges and razed the country to the ground. Hypocritical, but guess what, the winners make the rules.

You can't just force people to change their beliefs over night, thats not how things work either and religious freedom is guaranteed under the 1st ammendment clause 2:

"Second clause of the First Amendment that deals with religion immediately follows the Establishment Clause: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the exercise thereof."

Irrelevant to my post which clearly states IN ALL scenarios. Your religion doesn't get to trump rights designated in the constitution.

This was a goal post move and/or straw-man argument after your incorrect same sex marriage claims/stance. The courts do not disagree with him on same sex marriage.

This sounds like a 2010 debate lol and I can't believe we're having it right now. Get over it, the gay marriage stuff is over. You guys lost. It's time to champion a different 3rd world idea these days, like banning books, voter restrictions, or banning birth control.

I wonder if we will see the return of creationism and anti-evolution sentiment.

Schools being at the forefront, combined with the indoctrination narrative and anti-intellectualism going on in the GOP. I could see Ken Ham making his move.

@tjandmia: as someone who's agnostic and doesn't care about religion.

If I had to choose between having my kids taught about God or Gender identity/homosexuality in elementary school.

I'd pick God and like I said, I'm not religious at all and am totally fine with religion being kept out of schools (it should be kept out) but I'm also cool with keeping the lefts twisted ideology on gender out of schools too.(it should be kept out)

@tjandmia: telling 6yo boys they can be girls if they want is wrong and vice versa telling girls they can be boys is wrong, there is no science behind it. It's leftist ideology. The lefts view on gender imo is just as much "nonsense" as believing in a god.

@LJS9502_basic: bigot towards who exactly?

Bigot towards those who believe in God?

Or bigot towards those who believe they can switch between man and woman depending on how they feel.

I'd rather they be taught neither in a public school, except for the sex stuff in sex ed.

But putting books on ban lists because they had a guy touching the shoulder of another guy? Or biographies because the person happened to be gay? Or because it's a history on KKK? Or because the author mentioned they were black? That's dumb.

While LGBTQ+ stuff dont need to be put on the sex ed curriculum, teachers should also be allowed to answer questions they are asked.

And when requests for information are being denied, that is where I take issue. Hence why I take issue with the book bannings. If the students want to read certain books, they should be allowed to. I do not like this discouragement of curiousity and independent thought that seems to be increasingly popular among some political parties these days.

Bigot towards those who believe in God?

Or bigot towards those who believe they can switch between man and woman depending on how they feel.

Interesting strawman, and it was pretty clear LJS were referring to the Misotheists.

@tjandmia: telling 6yo boys they can be girls if they want is wrong and vice versa telling girls they can be boys is wrong, there is no science behind it. It's leftist ideology. The lefts view on gender imo is just as much "nonsense" as believing in a god.

Incorrect on all levels. It is not wrong to teach children that they can be who they are, which again, is backed by science in the realm of sexual orientation and identify. On the flip side, teaching god in schools is a clear violation of the constitution, not to mention an entirely worthless endeavor since it's a non-falsifiable task.

Your side is laughably wrong on these issues and will always be on the wrong side of history. Same sh*t repackaged that we've heard forever. Little difference from the interracial marriage opponents, anti gay opponents, etc. It'll end up in the garbage bin of history eventually.

If GOP learned from being wrong, we wouldn't be having this discussion here...

I'd shy away from presidential debates too with wacky stuff like this going on,

Republicans cheer as GOP candidate says Fauci should be executed by firing squad | The Independent

The chairman of theOklahomaRepublican Party received a loud cheer at a campaign event after calling forAnthony Faucito be “put in front of afiring squad”.

And when you to get these monkeys into debates, they spout the lowest of low drivel:

“First off, let me be very clear tonight,” Perdue began his opening statement, “the election in 2020 was rigged and stolen.” He went on to blame rising gas prices, inflation, illegal immigration and “the brink of war” on Kemp because the governor allowed “radical Democrats to steal our election.

😂

Allah just means god in arabic. It is actually pretty funny when some members of the religious right get offended when you point out that christians and muslims worship the same deity. Albeit with different interpretions.

Besides that it's magical nonsense? You'd have to ask the GOP about that one.

Like, literally the same. They're both Abrahamic religions, iirc.

Correct.

And then you have the people who get offended when you provide the mere notion that Jesus was Jewish, or state that Catholics are Christians.

It is pretty sad when you have people who are willing to ignore some very basic interpretions of their own texts in order to promote a worldview that thrives on division.

Perhaps the debates could be held on the Joe Rogan experience instead? Would probably get more viewers.

Maybe. And perhaps the debates could include real questions, not loaded ones and soft balls. And maybe we can eliminate the decades of gate keeping that has made it so only the same two parties get any kind of nationwide recognition in an election cycle. I doubt it though. And let's be honest, the debate commission decides who the debates are between. There's a reason no third party gets invited to them...

That’s just plain cowardly. Their is a reason these people needs series of handicaps to help them win government while betting far less votes and representing less people. They won’t debate the issues because their stances on the issues are deeply unpopular on a national level.

@silentchief: with all due respect if you feel confident in YOUR party’s positions, support a federal law against gerrymandering and abolishing the electoral college. I don’t know how anyone in a party that needs a series of significant handicaps so they can win with less votes can infer others lack confidence in their positions.

@piperis: the electoral college is not a "handicap"

You dum dum. Its the system that has been put in place from the start and exists for a reason. It's whole purpose is to give representation to people who don't live in the biggest cities. The electoral college does exactly what it was created to do.

The House gives that representation. The Senate gives that representation.

Lol abolish the electoral college? So the hive mind in California can dominate our election? How about we cap corporate donership and see how how that works for the lefties? The left doesn't have A handicap, they have far more donor's and most of mass media.

Mathematically that is impossible but then your side bans math books so I guess that's why you believe it could happen.
