LA County Sheriff discussing the hate crime incident regarding Elder. Hopefully LAPD will use every tool at their disposal to identify her and throw the book at her.

Don't forget the other idiots that resorted to assault and including the one that fired a pellet gun at his group in Hollywood earlier in the day. Wtf is wrong with people, and such a double-standard crickets are chirping on the liberal side not brushing a care for this one.

Oh I suppose I do care, on principle at least.

Right-wing folks pretending to care is about as bad as liberals not caring, though, so don't talk about "crickets chirping" lol. Perhaps worse because at least the liberals are being genuine.

Anyway I hope the person that committed the crime is found, charged, and treated according to our laws because, hey, that's what makes us civilized in many regards. But that's about as far as it goes for me.

I don't see it as a surprise or a double standard. I mean, this is the same party that had a Klan member in congress as recently as 2012. Who wrote and defended Jim Crow laws. Who just elected a man known for fighting against school integration with comments like "I don't want my children to go to school in a racial jungle." You know, the one who said "poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids."

Nah, the racism in the Democratic party has always been apparent to anyone who isn't a rabid fanboy of theirs. Lmfao @ the incoming "but..but.. the parties flipped!" bullcrap. Had it, then racists like Joe Biden and Robert Byrd wouldn't both have been top members of the Democratic party.

@eoten: Are you still on this? Dude, the parties did flip. Look at the policies Republicans used to flip the south or how the KkK votes republican. You fail each time to back your claims up.

Biden isnt a racist, atleast he wasnt sued for it like Trump.

He's gas-lighting. He knows the parties flipped in some areas, this should be common knowledge. Southern Democrat Conservatives became Southern Republican Conservatives. They were always far right conservatives though.

Hence why the once Democratic KKK are now a right wing group that likely votes GOP. Likewise for the Confederate flag.

Who were mostly conservatives. Remember, most Southern Conservative Democrats became Southern Conservative Republicans eventually. We even have election maps of Red States becoming Blue and Blue States becoming Red, between 1890-2010. A total shift.

Lmfao @ the incoming "but..but.. the parties flipped!" bullcrap.

I like when you post in this forum because you're always an easy target, since you lie so much. The parties did flip, in certain areas. Conservatives mostly remained conservatives. Most of these voters and some politicians went from Democrat to Republican, in part due to the Southern Strategy.

'Racially conservative' attitudes led white Southerners to leave Democratic Party (journalistsresource.org)

It's almost like I can't find a source that says otherwise unless it's PragerU or some other far right blog/op-ed. Still far outnumbered by real historical links, university links, or studies.

As opposed to the Republican's party after the southern realignment/strategy, who were mostly about that stuff. Rather than just 1 person. I mean hell, most hate groups are found in conservative districts today.

You literally only added that line because you knew you were going to get obliterated.

This is the equivalent of me going,

The earth is flat. This was established by all the GED Youtubers and Twitter users I follow. Lmfao @ the incoming "but..but.. the earth is round!" bullcrap.

Time to face the facts,

It’s a widely held belief that white Southerners began to leave the Democratic Party after Democratic President Lyndon Johnson signed the 1964 Civil Rights Act, outlawing segregation in business such as restaurants and hotels and in public places such as schools and swimming pools. However, this new study finds that “racially conservative” whites in the South started switching to the Republican Party in the early 1950s in reaction to Democratic President Harry Truman’s support for civil rights initiatives in the late 1940s.

Before 1950, nearly 80 percent of white adults who lived in the 11 states of the former Confederacy identified as Democrats, compared with about 40 percent of white adults in other parts of the country, the study shows. By the early 2000s, about 30 percent of white adults in the South and nationwide identified as Democrats.

It's not even fair for him, I can keep going on forever:

  • A study published in July 2018 in The Journal of Politics, “Polarization, Demographic Change, and White Flight from the Democratic Party,” suggests two factors prompted white voters to leave the Democratic Party between 1972 and 2012: changes in party ideology and growth in liberal minority populations.
  • A study published in 2014 in the American Journal of Political Science, “Immigration, Latinos, and White Partisan Politics: The New Democratic Defection,” finds that white people with anti-immigrant views or more negative views of Latinos are less likely to identify as Democrats and less likely to support Democratic candidates.

Turns out when something is a [historical]fact, there are tons of reputable studies on it. When something is fake, you can link PragerU and maybe 1 or 2 very old op-eds at best.

@sargentd: So you blame problems he inherited and made worse by a pandemic he didnt cause on him? 🙄

Crime you say?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/40968963

14th as of january 2020.

https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/crime-rate-by-state

So crime debunked.

https://www.security.org/resources/homeless-statistics/

All things considered CA is 4th and it has increased nation wide for 6 years in a row. Not to mention illegal immigrants and people from other states.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2019/11/06/us/homeless-population.amp.html

In some areas out of state people make up almost 33% of homeless. Housing while costly is not the highest, that goes to hawaii.

https://wallethub.com/edu/states-with-highest-lowest-tax-burden/20494

Tax burden. California has the highest top tax rate, not overall:

https://taxfoundation.org/publications/state-individual-income-tax-rates-and-brackets/

Depends on your wage. In some cases you would pay less. My taxes havent dipped much in Arizona compared to california.

This also ignores the pandemic, federal bs and him having to fight laws in place before he got there. California is not perfect, but its not as bad as people like you claim.

Elder wont help, if anything with his 0 min wage he send the state into an economic depression while not addressing the core issues.

Nice try though!

@Eoten: Still cant disprove him huh? Biden isnt a racist like Trump.

I will say this again, this is a fascist power grab. If newsomes loses california will be occupied and he will be voted out in a year!

And yet,

I saw no citation in this post. Just an example of one conservative Democrat who eventually changed his ideology, which an entire region of a Political Party/Platform does not make.

You have to give citation specifically showing a majority of Southern Conservative Democrats didn't become Southern Conservative Republicans between 1900-2012. Because all known data shows this happened. You have to show this did not happen with studies (no, not blogs).

  • 'Racially conservative' attitudes led white Southerners to leave Democratic Party (journalistsresource.org)
  • How Republicans and the 'Southern Strategy' Won Over the Once Democratic South - HISTORY

I mean I hate to spam but, I just want you to see how wrong you are.

@eoten said:

The KKK is currently a right wing group that supported the GOP. They once supported Democrats. This is because of the factual historic party switch in the South. The platforms/parties switched in the areas the KKK were in. These far right conservatives groups remained conservatives, however. Regardless of the party name.

Likewise for the Confederate Flag.

That would suck, minority rule (Elder's possible 20% and Newsome's possible 50% vote in terms of population) is horrific.

Also Elder is a maniac if you do some research. He makes Newsome look like a saint.

People supporting Newsome over Elder is manic. Newsome is a failure. Look how quickly your corporate establishments rush to defend Newsome 24/7 and look how they attack Elder.

It is crazy the lengths some of you on the left will go to defend Gruesome. A guy who time after time proves he does not give a shit about you lol blows my mind.
