Jeffrey Epstein dead of apparent suicide hours after released documents name several political figures

Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced millionaire who was facing federal sex trafficking charges, died by suicide early Saturday in his Lower Manhattan prison cell, law enforcement sources and the Bureau of Prisons confirmed to ABC News.

Epstein hanged himself, the sources said.

He was found unresponsive in his cell at Metropolitan Correctional Center around 6:30 a.m., the Bureau of Prisons said. He transported in cardiac arrest to New York Downtown Hospital at 6:39 a.m., according to sources.

Epstein, 66, was set to stand trial next year for allegedly sexually abusing dozens of minor girls in New York and Florida.

His death came less than three weeks after he was found unresponsive in his cell at the federal prison in Lower Manhattan, with marks on his neck that appeared to be self-inflicted, sources told ABC News. He was placed on suicide watch following the July 23 incident, but was not on suicide watch at this time of his death.

Epstein was arrested in July of this year for alleged sex trafficking of minor girls at his Upper East Side mansion and his home in Palm Beach, Florida. Some of the charges date back to the early 2000s.

Right now, the Clintons are trending on Twitter again, with their #clintonbodycount hashtag being high on the list.

While not nearly as numerous, #trumpbodycount is going up as well. People are arguing that Trump had something to hide too and he could have ordered the DOJ to do it. Of course, those people could just want to keep the Clintons out of the spotlight while looking for another way to get Trump out of office.

Do you think Epstein was just some rich guy that decided he would rather die than spend the rest of his life in jail, or do you think he was murdered under the orders of some person that had a chance of being implicated and it was set up to look like a suicide?

Honestly, it's probably a little of all of the above.

From the looks of it, there were people far more powerful than Trump or the Clinton's about to be exposed.

But you also have to understand that a man like epstien, who was used to a certain lifestyle. The idea of spending the rest of his life in prison was probably a lot to handle.

Seriously you could of spent less then 500 bucks and had a camera on this man 24 hours a day. This was a super high profile case with a lot of higher up people being part of this. He should of been watched more then any normal person prisoner. No matter what political affiliation you are people need to go down for what went on.

If it was proven that the Clintons had him killed, that would mean Republicans can brag the 2016 Democratic nominee was involved in one of the biggest political cover-ups in recent history and her actions can be used against the many Democrats that have endorsed or defended her. Certain media organizations could go down with them especially if it can be proven they helped cover up other crimes for political reasons.

If it was proven that Trump ordered his death, that would easily result in his impeachment, as well as the impeachment of any cabinet members that helped him carry out that order. It would all but guarantee that the White House would be back in Democratic control in the very near future, especially since Trump's impeachment/resignation would probably get Pence out of there too even if he had nothing to do with it, meaning Nancy Pelosi becomes president.

It's extremely easy to believe they could make the death of a rich pedophile that has connections to powerful people on both sides of the aisle political. Democrats use mass shootings to push gun control and Republicans use the deaths of U.S. citizens by illegal aliens (Mollie Tibbets, Kate Steinle) to push for stronger border security all of the time.

Most likely someone got bribed/threatened to take him off of suicide watch and he killed himself to protect his own family.

Trump retweeted that it was a Clinton conspiracy. So hopefully he pushes for investigations because I don't think he killed himself. I think there's a lot more to it. Where's the footage?

I wouldn't include Gandhi or Mother Theresa on that list. Mother Theresa was rather notorious for her use of pain, and for some actions that would be considered torture by many, and Gandhi very much believed violence had power and even appropriate uses.

And Jesus resorted to violence in one memorable instance in the Bible, so he's not exactly adverse to its use when appropriate.

So it's quite possible not even they would have wanted Epstein to live.

If only he knew, like no documents to back things up, what would be the point in killing him? It would be words against words with no evidence to back it up.

If evidence exist, unless it was locked so only he could access it, killing him won't make that go away. So what am I missing here?

Still, being dead at the time is an extremely good alibi. It's among the best defences around tbh. I'll just pencil them into the unlikely column for now.
