Session fires Andrew McCabe for Trump right before retirement

Goes to show just how petty this administration and his minions are.

FBI’s Andrew McCabe is fired a little more than 24 hours before he could retire

Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe believes that this is done to discredit him as a potential witness in the Mueller investigation, the Trump choir claims he's a deep-state operative out to sabotage the POTUS.

Who you believe, the draft dodging serial sexual assaulter megalomaniac who screws over everyone around him or the person that devoted the last 22 years of his life to public service?

I mean, it's clearly a vindictive move, the man was set to retire on Sunday, this move threatens his pention. He wasn't provided evidence to reasons behind his firing until two days before this happened, goes to show that there was no due process in the is matter.

With Trump cleaning house, I've no doubt AG Sessions was compelled to do Trump's bidding by firing McCabe. I have no doubt he will make further moves to force the Mueller probe be shut down, or to compel those he has power over to shut it down.

This is not the behavior of an innocent man, stop fooling yourselves if you think otherwise.

Due process is for a court not in regards to a firing. Also if the allegations are true McCabe should have been fired a long time ago.

Can't find any other way to look at this. Firing someone 2 days before their retirement it's meant to send a message; "If you don't fall in line we'll cut you down even when you think you've made it and are safe"

The never-Trumpers were right. Trump does not care about midterms or optics or the opinions of moderate GOP voters. Donald is digging republicans a hole from which they will take decades to climb out of.

I don't believe anything out of trump or his minions and I've always felt it was wrong to fire someone close to retirement....unless they've committed a serious crime.

Seems like McCabe will get his pension after all, maybe, Democratic lawmaker from Wisconsin is offering him a two-day temp job to get McCabe to where he needs to be to collect his full retirement.

Still, the more worrying issue is that Trump is obviously moving to squash the Mueller probe. Seems that Mueller asking for Trump organization files was too much for Trump to bare. I figure either Rosenstein will have to fire him or Sessions will have to fire Rosenstein, or Trump fires Sessions and they appoint a new AG who will fire Mueller without hesitation. Um, how is this not blatant obstruction?

Lying during a formal investigation is a serious crime especially for someone as high up as McCabe

Edit: But just to show you how wrong you are, here's a quote from Trump's lawyer calling for an end to Mueller probe while explicitly listing McCabe in it.

"I pray that Acting Attorney General Rosenstein will follow the brilliant and courageous example of the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility and Attorney General Jeff Sessions and bring an end to alleged Russia collusion investigation manufactured by McCabe's boss James Comey based upon a fraudulent and corrupt dossier."

Trump sees the FBI as his enemy with this investigation, including McCade.

Has he been convicted of that?

Will this mean that Sessions is off the hook with Trump? A sacrifice has been made so maybe the orange god will spare him now.

@Jacanuk: McCabe is a witness to James Comey's account that Trump asked him to pledge his loyalty to him and drop the (back then) Flynn investigation. Comey confided in a few others around the time that interaction that happened. This would have to do with the obstruction part of Mueller's probe.

Trump will never forgive Sessions for recusing himself. Trump is certainly dumb enough to fire Sessions, replace him with a new guy, and instruct him to fire Mueller.

John Brennen, ex CIA director threw some serious shade at Trump today:
