Guns are engraved in American history and culture. But there needs to be common sense on gun ownership, background checks, etc. I find it ridiculous that some mentally ill dude can walk into a store and come out with a duffel bag full of guns, then shoot up a school, killing 30 students. The one I'll remember for the rest of my life is the disgusting sandy hook shooting. I think around 20 kids, 5 and 6 year olds were killed by some sick twisted bastard. Stricter laws should have been passed then and there but the radical right, and fox news with their agenda made sure it didn't happen. Shameful bastards. If these crazy right wingers can't even agree to regulation of guns, then the country is better off splitting up. These nut jobs will only bring the country down. And trust me, I'm fairly right wing on most thing, especially regarding the economy, and tons of social issues but when it comes to things like guns, I'm in favor of common sense.

Aah, another comment based in what they heard on TV and not in fact. Not surprising. The kid from the Sandy Hook incident didn't buy any guns, he killed someone and stole them. If you believe that is the same as walking into a gun store and buying them, well then, there's probably no hope for you.

Are you claiming they are innocent? That they did not commit felonies? We have more people in prison because we have more people committing crimes to end up in prison. Why exactly do you think that is?

Being utterly detached from reality and advocating violence goes beyond having a different opinion, that's a danger to society that warrants taking away the privileges of gun ownership. Also, the irony of your statement seems lost on you.

People aren't threatening revolution over masks, stop being a drama queen. People are however refusing compliance with vaccine mandates and may defend themselves if someone attempts to force a needle into them, which is their right to do so. People like you are the real danger to society, the ones who see every slight or every disagreement as some kind of threat and demands something be done to stop them. Leave your house some time and actually talk to people in real life instead of reading a bunch of nonsense online.
