It has come to this: Ted Cruz is Putin’s stooge

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/12/08/its-come-this-ted-cruz-is-putins-stooge/

And as for Cruz, Cold Warrior, Obama critic and anti-Putin hawk, he now declares there is evidence of Ukraine interference in our election because an op-ed was written criticizing Trump’s campaign rhetoric about Ukraine. This is what Cruz is now reduced to — making excuses for a president willing to stab Ukraine in the back to the utter delight of Putin.

Everybody works for Russia and Putin according to the Washington Post.

The american media today is going through McCarthyism 2.0.

You guys better check under your bed before you go to sleep to make sure there are no Russians there.

An unwitting stooges? Sure. Intentional and receiving orders straight from him like a double agent, highly doubtful.

Parroting the Ukrainian Interference false equivalency is being an unwitting stooge. Russia wants people talking about that lie, according to the ICA. He is unintentionally doing their bidding.

Cruz promotes conspiracy that Ukraine "blatantly interfered" in U.S. election

https://www.axios.com/ted-cruz-ukraine-election-interference-0681b9b4-0980-44d0-8aeb-aa5a53a41960.html

Reality check: In 2014, Russia invaded, occupied and annexed the territory of Crimea from Ukraine. In response, the U.S. and much of the international community denounced Russia and refused to recognize its annexation of the peninsula.

  • During the 2016 election, Ukraine's ambassador to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly wrote an op-ed for The Hill in which he criticized candidate Trump for saying he would consider recognizing Crimea as Russian territory. That op-ed is one of several actions that Republicans say amount to election interference.

However, the scattershot criticisms from Ukrainian officials in the aftermath of Trump's Crimea comments differ greatly from the top-down, large-scale interference operation that the U.S. intelligence community has concluded was ordered directly by Vladimir Putin.

Are you sure?

Weren't you trying to tell us that Trump worked with Putin to win the election?

You aren't going to come back after Trump wins again and tell us that the entire Republican party are working with the Russians?

No. I wasn't. I stated the fact Russia interfered to help Trump.

I never said the GOP was working for Russia. Useful idiots? Perhaps, going by ICA and MR reports.

Also why are you derailing your own thread with fiction.

Well I'm not going to start writing conspiracy theories all of a sudden after 10,000 posts without using them.

Sorry to disappoint. Maybe you have me confused with someone else?

I was pretty solidly on the Russian Interference angle which turned out True and a huge issue to this day, and always doubted criminal collusion.

I would say I'm amazed at how the republican party is circling the wagons, but nothing surprises me anymore. Be nice for some of them to show a little backbone.

Ukriane interference is being used as scapegoat for the Russia election meddling.

Very sneaky move. Admiting an interference but with a different country that doesn't have significant resources to meddle in an election.

Ted Cruz and other Republicans trying hard to something about this so it seems they really trying.

I think we are under attack from a foreign power using a large misinformation campaign to sew distrust in each other and our government. I'm being serious on this point. No facetiousness today from me.

No the DNC peddles every excuse in the book as to why they lost the last election and why they will lose the next one.

You will spend the next 4 years propagating the latest conspiracy theory as to why your team lost.

Ted Cruz is a joke. Trump called his wife ugly and said Cruz’s dad was involved in the JFK assassination and Ted Cruz still lines up to lick Trump’s boots.

You're spreading Russian propaganda. Why would we take anything from Russian security service serious without vetting it first?

Are you trolling right now? Wray is a handpicked Republican, and even if he wasn't I'd still ask that. Other Agencies agree with him as well.

You factually got proven wrong and your thread got decimated. No amounts of lunatic Alex Jones posturing will change that.

You already went off topic. My point was how Democrats and their supporters accuse everyone that doesn't agree with them is in league with the Russians.

It's been the same story for the past 3 years, when something goes wrong blame Russia.

So you agree the Ukranian conspiracy theory Cruz was talking about in your OP was false, right?

Do you agree with the fact it was made up by Russians to trick people, right?

A) "In a classified briefing this fall, US intelligence officials told senators and their aides that Russia has engaged in a years-long campaign to shift the blame away from Russia and onto Ukraine for interfering in the 2016 American presidential campaign, according to two US officials."

Senators were told that the Russian disinformation operation focused on a handful of Ukrainians who openly criticized or sought to damage Trump’s candidacy — efforts that were significantly less organized than the multi-faceted election interference push ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin, one US official said, confirming details first reported by the New York Times.

US intelligence officials also told lawmakers that Russia used intelligence operatives to spread now debunked conspiracies, along with established facts, to frame Ukraine for the interference in the 2016 campaign, the official said."

B) "We have no information that indicates that Ukraine interfered," Wray said.

That's literally proof of what I'm saying. I've just been paraphrasing the above 3 agencies, they are my source.

Are you that worried about losing a debate on an internet to the point where you will contest reality?

So you have no actual proof. Thank you, that's all I wanted.

Exactly.

You can't just say things and they become true. You need evidence, something that is never provided.

@zaryia: He doesn't trust the FBI report. To change his mind you would have to somehow come up with some piece of evidence on your own, I guess by hacking into the Kremlin yourself or something.

It's okay dude. The rest of us know you are in the right here.

You don't have any proof. You have hearsay.

I could say that you work for the CIA doesn't make it so, does it?

Let's be honest, American intelligence agencies don't have the best track record.

You're spreading Russian propaganda. Why would we take anything from Russian security service serious without vetting it first?

And also. If your response warrants a ban, you would get banned by posting it, no matter who you respond to.

Why would we take anything from American intelligence serious?

How many times do you have to be tricked and lied to before you start to catch on?

So you trust Russian intelligence above your own?

Wait, you actually answered this already, and yes you would take Russian intelligence more serious than American (your own I presume) intelligence

Sea-lioning. He only seeks to wear you out so it seems like you lost. That goes for several right wing posters here.

So you ban me and then quote my post asking a question.

I'm sure this was all done in "good faith".
