And please post something more than just a simple link.

Trump is shooting himself in the foot by doing this.

Rex is probably one of the most qualified people in his cabinet and now he has gotten rid of him. But I saw this coming a mile away, you can´t keep disagreeing with a guy like Trump and stay in his "business"

Another casualty of the Trump admin, however I'm glad he's gone. Rex has gutted the state department to unforeseen levels and was reviled by those he oversaw.

A brilliant man like Trump seems to surround himself with 2 types of people, those that are crooks (Manafort, Gates, etc.) or those that are incompetent (Devos, Carson, etc).

The last person in that administration with a shred on intelligence and insight is now gone. I seriously don't know how this country will survive 3 more years of Trump. He really should fire himself since he doesnt want the job anways.

well this is what wikipedia says about the business dealings of his replacement. Still seems swampy

Pompeo founded Thayer Aerospace and Private Security, which received a 2% investment from Koch Industries.[15][16] In 2006, he sold his interest in Thayer, at which point it was renamed Nex-Tech Aerospace, and became president of Sentry International, an oilfield equipment company, which was also a partner with Koch Industries

Being pro-Israel is NOT a good thing, given the conflicts there between Israel and Palestine, as well as Israel having a shit human rights record much like Saudi Arabia.

You're not the only one who feels this way:

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2018/03/trump-is-going-for-a-clean-reset

According to five Republicans close to the White House, Trump has diagnosed the problem as having the wrong team around him and is looking to replace his senior staff in the coming weeks. “Trump is going for a clean reset, but he needs to do it in a way that’s systemic so it doesn’t look like it’s chaos,” one Republican said.

This article was posted March 9th. I was taking it with a grain of salt, but it's looking to be legit.

'looking for a clean reset' is not remotely as bad as what I am thinking.

lets say you work for a company and you know the FBI is coming to your office in 2 weeks and they know if they see certain people and documents that you are over..what is the classic Hollywood scene in that case?

thats right, fire everyone and start shreding.

or it could just be him doing his normal emo rant

Well, I believe the state has a right to exist. That's all you need to be pro-Israel, given the text of the Hamas charter (which was recently revised to not include the destruction of the Jewish people, just their right to statehood..how nice of them)

As for your human rights comparison, not even close. Israel has affirmative action for women, including Arab women in regards to employment, university tuition, and civil service. LGBT rights are the best in the region, granting common-law benefits to same sex couples, abolished sodomy laws decades ago, and as of 2014, SRS was subsidized. They have pretty big problems regarding political prisoners, and administrative detention, but comparing them to Saudi Arabia is just silly.

Both Israel and Palestine have the right to exist as sovereign states. The problem with being overtly pro-Israel or pro-Palestine is that in doing so, you are effectively relinquishing your role as an impartial mediator towards any peace talks. Holding such an unconditional position of support for either side, instead ends up helping neither of them to resolve their issues in the long-run.

I lolled at a woman becoming head of CIA.

I mean a russian female agent only has to follow the new CIA director to the hair saloon, and she will be in possession of all state secrets.

For as you know, the magic of the hair saloon makes women gossip out all their secrets to whoever happens to be in the next chair. They cannot help it, poor little women...

Would you mind explaining what the magic of the hair salon is, as you seem to know a lot about this? Hmm maybe you'd be the one gossiping, never mind the women!

Yeah that's true, a governing party should seek to stay aligned on foreign policy where possible. I was just giving my opinion on the situation in general, not specifically referring to the Trump administration.

I think this lady is as serious and tough as any man, but hey who knows.

Well she seems nice...
