Trump likes travelling to Mar-a-lago it seems

If Trump keeps up with his weekend trips to Mar-a-lago, he will outspend Obama's vacations costs over 8 years as president, during his first year as president.

Of course the cost of these trips are only estimates, and so far they estimates that the cost reached about 10 million $ based on a similar trip Obama had in 2013.

Didn't Trump criticize Obama's vacations trip and state that if he was ever elected as president, he wouldn't go on vacations because he would have so much work to do?

Trump is wasting taxpayer money left and right. Costs a lot to have his family stay in New York as well. Disgusting how someone that doesn't pay taxes is okay with wasting money from people that NEED their money.

The Hypocrisy is astounding. They did nothing but complain about Obama golf outings and vacations but Trump is literally doing this every weekend and now the right doesn't mind. When he spends money like crazy they wont mind either. You think they will want to shut down the government for the next debt ceiling raise? Of course not, they are hypocrites and stand for nothing but the parties power and control.

Every time Obama traveled he took three planes One for him and one for his dog, speaking of his dog it had a trainer which cost the taxpayers $120.000 a year no expense there right. His Wednesday parties with top entertainment no expense there. Funny what happens when you open Pandora's Box.

It does go both ways and for my part I don't care what vacations Trump takes. His whole life is one big vacation. But he seems to be putting Obama to shame so far on the amount of golfing he does. I think it would be refreshing to have a president who does not golf. Is that even possible?

If you're referring to the State Department, I disagree.

DoS represents American interests worldwide and help mitigate conflicts worldwide. In fact, in a letter from 120 generals and admirals, they stated that stated:

"The State Department, USAID, Millennium Challenge Corporation, Peace Corps and other development agencies are critical to preventing conflict and reducing the need to put our men and women in uniform in harm's way," the generals wrote.

In fact, General Mattis stated in 2013: "If you don't fully fund the State Department, then I need to buy more ammunition."

Fact is, DoS has a role to play in American foreign policy. They use diplomacy and attempt to negotiate in order to avoid war as well as approve the DoD sales of weapons to other countries.

I am not disagreeing. Trump seems to be diverting military funds away from aid programs and similar policies, and more into shit like the wall and most likely more private contracting for bloated projects he bitched and moaned about on the campaign trail.

Truth be told, we should both want trump to take as much vacation as he can. Less Trump in office, means less terrible Trump policies. Lol.
