The work of AOC, Tlaib, and Pressley on the horrific migrant camps finally unnerved Trump, leading him to make a colossal blunder, allowing Democrats to truly define Trump as a racist and most of the GOP as enablers to his racism.

Both buzzfeed and the BBC article are tailored around a very specific story, that of Cumberbatch using the phrase with inappropriate context and apologizing for it unprompted.

Per your own article, Francys Johnson says that the term is being used as coded language by racists, and that the NAACP is still accepting their use of the term because they proudly represent a multi-ethnic coalition of varying minorities.
