Trumpers call for Biden's impeachment, but Trump actually released 5000 Taliban prisoners

At this point I don't know if it's that Trump supporters are so misinformed or just the simple fact they view Trump as a god who can do no wrong or not be held to any accountability. What did people think would happen by releasing 5000 Taliban prisoners last year? I've seen people all over Facebook (and politicians) calling for Biden's impeachment to the "disastrous" pullout of Afghanistan. There wasn't a single combat death in Afghanistan since those prisoners were released, up until the withdrawal, which was scheduled for May btw. But Biden arbitrarily extended it, pissing off the Taliban in the process. Looks like a Biden mess to me.

For bailing out of Afghanistan. closing the embassy and leaving thousands of Americans stranded through out the country. His press sectary just said Biden can't guarantee he will be able to get them out by August 31, 2121. That means we are going to have send a lot of military personnel back to retake areas including the air base we gave up and fight against the Taliban ho we be using our own weapons against us that Biden left behind. This is Biden's doing nobody else's. He onws it no matter how you try to spin it.

The difference is they attack other people on their home soil and crashed the entire economy. We can't control everyone on their own soil nor should we but we shouldn't let anyone attack us without massive repercussions.

to be honest this whole thing is a disaster, losing so badly to the taliban after trillions of dollars, tens of thousands of american lives, hundreds of thousands of afghan lives, and you go back to point 0. We all wanted a pull out, but not like THIS. It would have been far preferable to not have entered that back water country in the first place.

The thing is, you can't even blame this all on biden, the scope is far too big for one president to take responsibility for. Trump did some stupid things, and believe me, I generally liked a lot of what trump did, but I do accept he made a bunch of mistakes, hes human after all. Then you can go back to Obama, who in fact is a master of foreign policy. He conducted the wars amazingly, very competent and makes both trump and biden look like chump amateurs. At the end of the day though, even though he didn't pull out of afghanistan because he knew the disaster it would be, he knowingly passed the buck so thats on him. The Taliban runs Afghanistan they are in control of the nation. They are responsible for 9/11. They are the group in power and the Afghans couldn't keep them away 1 week after we left. Most of the innocent people you are worried about will be executed in the next few years the other men will be forced to join. You think it's a small minority of the population that's the problem over there, It's not. If it was they wouldn't have took everything back in a week.
