Vice News did a great job no, incredible job documenting the crisis in East Jerusalem. Implore everyone to watch the video to get the understanding of what the Palestinian side faces in this conflict. Quite heartbreaking too, oh may not suitable for everyone due to violence depicted.

Saw that documentary a while ago. It's a very well-done piece of journalism.

Here's another resource debunking many of the myths, propaganda and talking points you often hear from Zionists and Israel supporters:

Palestine myths database

One of the more interesting articles from the site concerns the foundation of Israel and the Zionist movement:

Myth: The ethnic cleansing of Palestine was an accident of war

It provides direct quotes from declassified documents recorded by leading Zionists and Israel's founders during the late 19th to mid-20th centuries. Ironically, the claims made by some of today's Israel supporters contradict what was stated by the nation's own founders.

Israel's founders were surprisingly very open about their settler-colonialism, Jewish-supremacist racism, and ethnic cleansing. They founded Israel as a settler-colonialist Jewish-supremacist state that planned to colonize all of Palestine, ethnically cleanse the Arab "n******" whose lives hold "no value" and replace the land with racially "superior" Jews imported from Europe, America and elsewhere.

This led to the Nakba, the ethnic cleansing of more than 700,000 Palestinians in 1948. This was something they had planned many years earlier. They were also open about how they planned to deliberately instigate wars with neighboring Arab nations in order to justify territorial expansion.

P.S. It's also worth noting that Hamas was a creation of Israel (much like how the Taliban and Al Qaeda were creations of America). Up until the 1980s, the Palestinian resistance was led by the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), a secular socialist movement founded by Palestinian Christians, who were fighting side-by-side with Palestinian Muslims. But then in the 1980s, Israel funded the rise of Hamas, in order to weaken the secular socialist PLO, i.e. "divide and rule" tactics.
