which was dangerous.

because his evil was effective, Trumps might not end up being as effective in the long run. Time will tell.

Saying his evil was effective isn't describing how he was evil.

I'll compare them when Trump is done as president and there has been a few years since his presidency ended.

I dont think what he has done thus far is worse then the 1 trillion dollar Iraq war, buddying up with Enron or lack of security that likely caused 9/11

And yet trump is removing restrictions on business that can lead to pollution...which equals health hazards. He's eroding the relationships with allies....which is a danger. He's also anti American.

I am not saying he is swell.

I am saying it takes a lot to make up for a 1 trillion dollar war of aggression on our part all based on lies.

LOL, that was funny :)

Neither was/is qualified for the job if you talk about media training, but I am glad that a Republican was our president when we were attacked, if Obama had been the president or Clinton, we would have cried a bit and then the president would have gone and apologised to the middle east for making them attack us.

and I am convinced that we were attacked BECAUSE of Bush.

I recall saying to myself even before the attack 'he is pissing off so many countries someone is eventually going to attack' then bam

As shitty as Trump is, gotta say Bush.

That's a lot of dead innocent people. I know some people think Trump might result in more due to possible wars and pushing USA back on climate, but I doubt it. The next president will fix that stuff. You can't fix what Bush did.

TLDR: Republican presidents being bad.

exactly.

Is Trump more embarrassing and painful to listen to? yes

Does Trump make talking with his supporters even more bizzare? yes

but has he done as bad things as Bush has? not yet in my opinion

@tryit: nah, a job like that was being planned long before Bush.

The bush admin was complicit in the attack though. Cheney made millions with haliburton and war profiteering. Republicans expanded government over reach and reduction of our civil liberties with the creation of Homeland security. And republican had an excuse to follow through with their redistribution of wealth by knowingly causing s market crash that devistated the middle class allowing the elite to swoop in and gobble up the market and cash.

Do I need to post again the article that shows the so called WMDs that were found were not disclosed because 'it did not fit the narrative sold as the reason to go to war' so that more and more people get to see it?

no I mean the officals LITERALLY saying 'the reason we did not disclose this when we found it is because it didnt fit the narrative for going to war'

they actually literally said that, its not my bias that they actually said that

but thank you for continuing to draw so much more attention to it, shall we post the news article yet AGAIN for everyone to see?

it helps understand why Bush was joking! all the evidence is in the details of the story!

Bush joked about it because it was still classified information.

You didn't check dates because you think you found what you want. You cannot make an argument for yourself.

now your changing the subject, lets focus on you advertising the point about WMDs because I like that.

Folks! read the article about all the WMDs that where found in Iraq! all the evidence is here! take a good look because Bush was wrong when he made jokes about not being able to find WMDs

https://www.cnn.com/2014/10/15/us/iraq-chemical-weapons/index.html

He joked before it became declassified. epic fail

lol!

yeah and the evidence is in! just read the link to read what it all was and why it was kept uniformed for so long!

it helps understand why Bush was joking! all the evidence is in the details of the story!

I am on your side bro...lol tell as many people about this story as you can..please!

Bush joked about it because it was still classified information.

You didn't check dates because you think you found what you want. You cannot make an argument for yourself.

/debate.

lol....

it was classified because the information was highly damaging to his reasoning!

it would make ZERO sense to classify evidence that would support ones reasons for going to war to the point that not revealing it would lead you to making jokes about yourself!

jesus man think! if that information was good for them they would have released it, but it wasnt. why? 1. because soliders got sick, 2. the weapons where made by US companies, and 3. there wasnt that much of them 4. and they were old.

I'm glad you have high level government clearance to know why they classified WMD's.

You're a cartoon character.

anyway...

the take away is that I encourage you to tell as many people as possible about this and link the stories showing and explaining why the information was classified to the point of putting entire war at risk, showing that the weapons where made by american companies, showing that the soldiers got sick, showing that the weapons where old, showing that there wasnt that much of them and showing that officals felt it did not justify the reasons for the war.

Bush. Trump has a LONG way to go to reach that level of terrible even after the amount of bullshit he's done so far. But if Trump keeps at the pace he's at right now, he may very well end up WORSE than Bush in a much shorter time frame even when your adding Bush's 2 terms...

agree with 100% of that assessment.

Trump still has a good chance of being materially worse, but right now he isnt there just yet

I seriously had to stop and think for a good minute about this question. Bush quite probably is the worst president in history. Going to war and killing millions of people, starting up wars on 5 different fronts. The man has alot of blood on his hands, while Trump on the other hand isn't nearly as bad in that aspect. Trump doesn't want to start any wars with Russia, with north Korea, with Iran, etc. He prefers to bargain using underhanded business tactics, and to be honest Trump shts over everyone including allied countries. Beyond that, he hasn't shown any inclination of starting any wars which is very commendible.

Trump is a dumbass because of his gutting environmental policies and giving out more handouts to the rich. Handouts to the rich is one thing but the environmental policies are a joke. He's constantly denying climate change as an issue that needs to be addressed. He's a flat out denier and he's giving voice to the uneducated masses who should not be given a vote.

Even with all this, bush is probably worse. I voted Trump reflexively and now wish I could change my vote. Bush is the worst president in history. Period

Trump's damage is yet to be seen. The worst thing he has done thus far is divide the country, which is truly terrible, but that's more of an intangible thing.

Bush Jr did many, many, many terrible things. I mean let's just focus on the two main bad ones: took us to a war (two, actually, Iraq and Afghanistan), and ruined the economy.

As of right now, I'd say Bush is the worst. But I hate Trump more, which is crazy, I know.

I think the worst thing Trump has done was to kidnap 2,500+ children with no intention of returning them in order to use them as a message to asylum seekers, to not come to the United States. He would have continued kidnapping children if the media had not forced congressional Republicans to stop him from kidnapping children. He was kidnapping children at an increasing rate when the policy of kidnapping children was ended. This isn't damage yet to be seen. This is pain and trauma deliberately inflicted.

I think the second worst thing Trump has done was fail to respond adequately to hurricane Maria in his territory of Puerto Rico, contributing to the deaths of thousands, not at the hands of the hurricane, which spared them, but of disease and the lack of proper medical infrastructure at the neglectful hands of their own government.

Not to mention giving the green light to deadly chemicals at the EPA, loosened restrictions on river pollution, and war waged on efforts to combat climate change at a time when 17 communities in Alaska and one in Louisiana are undergoing expensive relocation due to climate change, the latter at great expense to the taxpayer and the first eighteen out of the hundreds to come.

Trump went out of his way to save the Chinese company ZTE, which admitted it violated US trade sanctions with Iran and North Korea, from closure after they lied about firing those responsible. He announced the rescue the same month it was revealed a Chinese government linked company invested heavily in one of his properties. One of the dozens of instances of corruption that Trump, his family, his advisers, and his cabinet have engaged in to enrich themselves at the expense of the nation.

Trump's damage isn't just potential, it is multi-faceted and real and ongoing. Though yes, somewhere high on my list would be further dividing the country. I have virtually no doubt Heather Heyer would not be dead today if Donald Trump was never elected president. Little latino kids would not have heard "BUILD THE WALL!" shouted at them at soccer games like a racial epithet if Donald Trump hadn't entered our political life.
