UK general election 2017: voting opens with final polls pointing to Tory win – live https://t.co/mYZW6JB2Ka

Most likely Tories. The polls are showing an average Tory lead of about 7-8%, and UK polls are traditionally shit - in the Tories' favour.
Credit to Corbyn, though: the polling lead was in the 20s at the beginning of this whole thing. Sure, he was helped by May's social care and Dementia tax mess, but he still largely managed to transform himself from Comrade Corbyn into something resembling a semi-tolerable social democrat.
Of course, I still don't buy it myself, but credit where it's due. If someone with less skeletons in their closet had been leading Labour instead of him, the Tories might actually be in trouble.
Looking at social media you would think labour, labours Facebook has 300k more likes than conservatives and most comments are people saying there voting labour
However the actual vote never reflects this, there are likely a large amount of closet conservatives who will just vote for and not actaully comment about it due to Tory bashing on social media.

LMAO the Tories **** it up and it's a hung parliament, I will die of laughter. Trezza how can you **** up so hard
For those following (those new to the game) and wondering what this means, 326 is the number needed for an outright majority in the Commons. Tories had a 331 outright majority before they called this election.
Goddammit, I was expecting to catch the Exit Poll and then go to sleep and now I can't do that. I haven't sleep much, had to endure that Comey Senate hearing including whatever the hell McCain was doing (lol).
Forget you UK, now I have to stay up for this.

Potential (!)
The shock poll suggests the Conservatives will secure only 314 of the 650 seats in the House of Commons, the lower house of the UK's Parliament. The main opposition Labour party are tipped to win 266 seats.

Current results (via exit polls)
Conservatives: 314
Labor: 266
That Labour guy in the BBC broadcast started humble, giving the whole: "this is only a poll" blah blah blah but now he is getting a head of steam. Take a chill pill, your initial instinct was the correct one, caution, and then if the Exit Poll turns out to be right you can celebrate.
Things getting sassy grrrrrrrrrrrr meow.
Look at this:
Once again, a Labour win, but better result for Tories than #ExitPoll suggested https://t.co/fETgmZth76

Now look at my avatar. Margaret is praying.
If Tories win this... we are doomed!! A coalition parliament would probably be the worst thing to have :(

What kind of coalition would be? Don't see anyone wanting to form a coalition with the Tories since LD and SNP have wildly different views on Brexit than the Tories do. A Labour-LD-SNP coalition would be very tasty though since it means there will be a second referendum.

Tories and Labour. That would be hell.
Fascinating. Exit polling's record since 1997 is actually not too bad; with a maximum margin of error of about 20 seats. Even if that error goes the Tories way, they would only have a small majority.
The real story here is the collapse of the UKIP vote. Ever since the referendum, they've been plummeting in the polls, and have become almost a bigger joke than Labour. As I said a while back, these populist parties tend to cannibalise themselves if left to their own devices, and that's what happened when they kicked out their only MP and their first post-Farage leader lasted just two weeks. Since then, they managed to lose the Stoke by-election to Labour despite that constituency being heavily pro-Leave, got shellacked in the local council elections, and are heading for a wipeout here. There might not be a UKIP after this election.
As for the Tories, well, everyone agrees that May ran a bad campaign, and it now looks like she's going to stumble to a narrow win, at best. I was reading the other day about a bunch of Welsh voters; a month ago they were very strongly tempted to vote Tory, but now, those same voters are sticking with Labour. That just says it all.
@omegamaster:
German-style grand coalition? Never. Especially after what happened to the Lib Dems under Cameron.
More likely, the Tories will look to the Northern Irish DUP for coalition partner, or we'll see a tri-party left-wing alliance between Labour, SNP and Lib Dems, and perhaps even Greens, Plaid Cymru and SDLP as well.
BBC updates forecast for #GE2017:

UKIP 0 -1

Meh.
One silver lining is seeing the SNP taken down a peg.
Agree. I've endured Blair,Brown and Cameran so whoever wins I'll endure though if Corbyn wins I'll know what it ls like being Chinese.
New estimate:
Con: 318
Lab: 267
SNP: 32
Lib Dems: 11
Some notable results for me personally:
Mhairi Black retains her seat. Not a fan of SNP, but I like her. Tough, straight-talking and no bullshit. The world needs more people like her, preferably in other parties.
Cleggy's gone! Poor guy. He was honest in his intentions in going into coalition with Cameron, but I guess the Lib Dems still need to keep sucking the poison out before they can truly recover.
Holy crap, Labour just gained Canterbury. That seat's been in Tory hands since World War I. That being said, it's a university town, so that, right there, is a sign that the youth vote has really come through this time round.

Labour just won 258 seats. Add that to all the other parties, and it's official: we have a hung parliament.
Wow.
All eyes are now on the DUP (currently 10 seats), who seem to be the most natural coalition partner for the Tories.
Another election where the people end up voting in complete contrast to what was forecasted at the start.
But then again May had a Clinton campaign and pretty much smashed her own 20% lead to a donkey. At least she will remain PM and the one deciding brexit.
@Jacanuk:
Actually, Tory sources are saying it's 50/50 whether she'll stay or go. There is even talk of another election in October.
It's a right old mess, this one. It would have been even worse for her if wasn't for the SNP f***ing up on indyref2 and allowing the Scottish Tories to gain 12 seats as a result. May has to be thanking the high heavens for Ruth Davidson right now.
So can I go to sleep now? Or is there a terrorist attack something else coming that I need to stay up for?
Go to bed?
Hopefully you didn't stay up for this?
I did. I'm a sad individual :(

Why would you want her to be the one negotiating brexit? She's done an appalling job so far with pretty much every talk resulting in failure. Whether you like the conservatives or not, there's no denying that Theresa May is absolutely shit, she can't negotiate, and she managed to lose her parties majority 3 years before the election was originally going to happen. The Conservatives deserve better and The UK deserves better.
There's a good chance there will be a vote of no confidence and she'll be kicked out.

We all know how wrong sources can get. But a new leader may not be the worst idea.
But i doubt there will be another election already in October, it will make Britain look weak against the German and French EU negotiators. Not to mention the chaos,
And good the scottish people gave a good solid Tory showing up there, so Britain didn't have to deal with a PM Corbyn which would have been absolute horrible.

Well, there should be a leadership change, as you said May went full Clinton and smashed her party's lead not to mention pushed the election button in the first place.
But Corbyn is not any better and he is lucky May did such a poor job because with a stronger leader, he would have been shown as the dirtbag he is.
Most important is the Brexit and it should def. not be a soft one. Which would mean UK has to pay eu a lot.
@Jacanuk:
Just as long as it's not Boris Johnson.
The UK are already looking weak as a result of this election. EU officials are already talking about delaying the start of Brexit negotiations just to say to the UK; "You need some time, mate?"
Thank **** it's not Corbyn he would have bent over and took it raw for Brexit negotiations. How May fucked it up so bad riding high after Brexit vote she had to do nothing, then that manifesto yeesh.
@toast_burner:
Ha, alright Queen Amidala, calm down.
She'll stay as PM. Anymore elections or fighting drawn out leadership elections would be a stupid idea when the focus should be Brexit negotiations.
Her political career is probably over in about 2 years from now. She won't be tory leader in the next election.Corbyn may stick around for a few years as labour leader. I'm not sure if he will be labour leader for the next election.
