Best PS1 games of 1998?

Small Soldiers... (I loved this game!)

Spyro the Dragon

Crash Bandicoot Warped was the best PS1 game of that year for me.

On the N64, it was Ocarina of Time.

Maybe Suikoden 2? Man, 98 was a good year for games.

My fav. game this year would be StarCraft which isn't on Ps1. Also games like Sonic Adventure or Panzer Dragoon were epic.

On Ps1 it's without a doubt Suikoden 2, followed by Star Ocean, Crash 3, Spyro, Gex, Tekken 3 and Tomb Raider 3

Suikoden 2 and Crash Bandicoot 3 come to mind. I am sure there are many many others though. That was a great year for gaming.

1998 was a good year across the platforms, but for some reason, Playstation's best was definitely 1999. You may want to check that out.

There's so many PlayStation games I need to check out. My parents randomly bought me a PlayStation one year (I don't even remember who asked for one) and the only game I had was an Atari greatest hits for a while. I later got the final fantasy games, but damn did I miss out on a lot of games!

Can't wait for PSIO to be available in larger quantities so I can catch up.

My favourite game on PS1 in 1998 is Parasite Eve.

Crash bandicoot and Resident evil get my vote

I remember Resident Evil 2 and Final Fantasy 9 best in my memory.

But we always played Crash Bandicot with the family. that's why I would give it more points.
