Damn, that's a sweet port! Always amazing to see what the ol' 7800 could have done with more support.
Yup, it's a very capable console. The 7800 had very flexible hardware, for instance, you could create backgrounds using either tilemaps to save on RAM, sacrificing sprites, and performance. Or use bitmaps, using more RAM, and freeing up sprites to use in the foreground, and gaining extra performance. Just some of the things I've learned about the 7800.
