What were your first games, favourite games and memories.

My older sister had a nes so we played together on that a lot. The first games I can remember were all the main Mario ones, operation wolf, duck hunt, top gun: second mission, nes golf, Jack Nicklaus golf, new ghostbusters 2, blades of steel. You can probably guess what my favourite was.

My first system was the 2600, followed by a SMS, and then a NES. The first nes game I played was either duck hunt or Mario, both fantastic. Also played a lot of Bigfoot, mega man 2, and tecmo bowl.

My grandpa gave me his old NES when I was like 3 or 4 and my cousin gave me her old games (like 20-30 games). I mostly remember castlevania (dracula's curse), mario (1,2,3), and zelda 1.

Castlevania and Mario 3 were my favorites back then. I have more appreciation for zelda 1 now but still prefer castlevania.

Ah yes, the NES. How many thirty-somethings DIDN'T get started on this wondrous device, I ask? :P

I actually got my NES in the 1991 holiday season, when the SNES was debuting. My cousins handed down their hardware to me, along with a light handful of games. The first game I ever played on it, of course, was Super Mario Bros. Later on I ended up getting the sequels and played the living daylights out of them. This was in addition to other games such as Mega Man 2, Duck Hunt, Excitebike, and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! that I ended up enjoying for several years until I made the leap to the N64 in 1998. Great times.

Batman, Duck Tales and Talespin, such awesome games.

I think I was around 6-7 year old when I got an Nes Ikari Warrior bundle. It took years before I found out about the "abba" code to Ikari Warriors, it wasn't a pleasent first game to get in an age where I got 1-2 games a year.

The one I absolutely HAD to have was Link{Zelda2}, but I spent more time on Ultima: Exodus- a friend had that on Commodore64- I played the dickens out of my NES version- still have console AND cartridge today.

I was too young to remember which game was the first game I played, but it might have been Ice Climber, Zelda, Metroid, Rush 'n' Attack or something else! It's all kind of a blur, and I experienced all these games around the same time, but as I said, I can't remember which was first. This was at a friends place whose older brother had a NES with these games. Later my parents bought me a NES with Super Mario.

Mario Bros, Mario Bros 3, didnt care too much for 2. Xcitebike, punchout, Captain Skyhawk, TNMNT Manhattan project, Solar Jetman, MM3, Ninja Gaiden. I was born in 82 but didnt even know about video games really until the late 80's. No kids on my street back then, just one male teenager that would let me come over when he was bored showed me his NES. He also terrorized me and my younger brother for his fun. This guy let me borrow Maniac mansion which was too advanced for me to get very far in, I tried though.

Found the other kids in the neighborhood further out like in 92, never knew they existed before that. One kid my age moved in down the street in like 89 or 90, I hung out with him until like 94 exclusively. He had an NES and 2600, we both gamed in the evening after playing outside all day. We where best friends and gamed together all the way to the N64 era.

But the very first memory, I think, was the hamburger assembling game. I played it at a Bally's fitness when my mom was working out. they had a kid center with an nes.

I remember being really enthused about the nes when I first saw it, but it was almost time for the snes by this time. So I was much more into gaming with the snes and its gaming experiences.
