genres and objectives you hate

We all have a type of game we don't like and even those we do like there may be certain types of objectives or missions or levels in them we hate. What are yours?

For me:

Shoot 'em ups

object finding

puzzle

water levels

rail shooters

tactical war games

@pikachewbacca: despite my ongoing hiatus....my one answer is that of MMOs, even back in those days,I disgraced those games on the computer den,nor will I want it in my personal laptop or other gaming devices,otherwise it might be killed like a literal bug.

I go with Puzzles the most and it takes too much of my time depending on the retro game that is.

Grinding in MMO's for me.

Linear first-person shooters, rail shooters, racing games (and stages in non-racing games). I don't mind puzzle stages in games but I don't care for puzzle-only games.

You don't care for wave based FPS games? Starfox? Musha? Virtua cop? Resident Evil 4? Road rash?

Stealth and escort games/missions.

@Heirren: I love Starfox and Resident Evil 4. I should have put those in brackets as exceptions I suppose. Don't care for Virtua Cop and Road Rash. Never heard of Musha.
