hi,

i very much enjoyed my late childhood playing those classic console video games like contra, mario, double dragon etc...sweet memories :), i still have few of those chips which have these games and i couldnt find one very much loved arcade game, i want to atleast find the name of it(im obsessed with it). so if someone knows something, please help me.

Details:

Period: not sure when it was released but, i think i played it somewhere between year 2000 and 2005. but it could date back to contra, double dragon.

PlatForm: Console video game where you can plug in your console, TV video input, game chip to the box. i think the box is like a keyboard.

GameDescription: the screen shows two tanks left and right, each side has a big pile of dirt(meant for protecting yourself, the dirt can be destroyed exposing you to your opponent). Both the players take turns firing one weapon at a time. The weapons are crazy, i remember one of the weapon's name is 'Pile Driver', it appears as a small drilling icon. You aim it to make holes to your opponent's pile of dirt so that later you can drop off bigger bombs into the hole. There are large variety of weapons - one of them is a big sparkler which destroys the dirt here and there in minor portions, and the other one is a big bomb which is powerful but only focuses on small area. the game is a little bit strategic.

thank you in advance.. old school video games rock!!!

That looks like a clone of "Scorched Earth" actually - scorched earth is true old-school PC gaming :-)
