Hello,

I just received a new disc and it is fresh and has no scratches. I put it in the ps2 and a message came up saying disc read error. Any help on what I can do?

The lens may be worn out if that it's how shall I clean the whole lens?

The silver discs read beautifully i just have a problem with the blue discs.

The blue disc has no problem with the back

Anyone tell me what's going on?

And the ps2 makes no noise grinding and clicking and it's just not reading blue disc I may have some ideas to make it work.

1.stand the ps2 up.

2.turn the ps2 upside down.

3.go to settings and change disk speed and smoothness.

4. Diagnostic mode

Well I'll try all of these if it doesn't help can someone help me

That was always a problem with PS2 when they got older. The only real fix is another PS2

@jeg3854: Truth! Once PS2s get some age on them, they stop reading blue discs for the most part. Luckily PS2s are super cheap now.
