What are your favourite Sonic the Hedgehog games from the 90's ?

For me it's Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic and Knuckles and Knuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 2

But will also say that Sonic the Hedgehog 3 was pretty good. And I agree with @judaspete that Sonic Adventure was good because I like that Nights into Dream pinball mini game is what made that Sonic game fun back in 1999. (I just recently replay Sonic Adventure game on PC)

Sonic 1 & Sonic the Hedgehog 2 were my two favourites

Sonic 2 and Sonic 3d Blast Genesis. I've never owned a Saturn though, so I've never really tried that 3D blast version.

I'd have to go with Sonic 1 since that is what got me into it.

For Genesis and Sega CD... Sonic CD followed by Sonic 3 & Knucles and finally Sonic 2.

For Game Gear... Sonic Triple Trouble, Sonic 2 and Sonic Spinball.

Sonic 2 is my pick.

Sonic 3, and Knuckles are both close contenders, but some of the later levels are just not as fun as the early levels. Sonic 1 is pretty cool too.

I thought CD was awful...... Idk.... I didn't have any nostalgia for it and the level design is wack. The concept is cool, but the execution is not good.

Sonic Spinball is probably a bad game, but I like it.
