Hey all,

I recently picked up this controller at a thrift store. I got it because it was odd looking, didn't pay much for it.

Would anyone know what it is? I'm guessing its for PS1, but don't know the makers or anything.

Seems that the middle could possible be missing, since aren't any maker marks.

There aren't any marks on it except for patent numbers.

Have you tried to google the patent numbers?

Looks like a generic controller with a bad design.

With a quick google search, I couldn't find that matches that PlayStation controller but however, I found this that almost looks like it:

It's called: Dual SFX Evolution PS3 Controller. To be honest, I have never seen these types of controller nor no one that I know never talk about these kind of controller, I been going through different gaming sites for over a decades and I never seen anyone mentioning this. The original pick that you posted must have been some kind of prototype during the days of PlayStation 1 and here's a quick video from the one I posted the pic how it works.

It looks like the Wii Nunchuck and PSOne controller had a one night stand and that was the result.

Looks like a Wii nunchuk with a PS1 design. It looks like it might be a controller from the PS1 days., but can't seem to find anything on it. That's a rare find.
