not really sure how they ended again. I don't like Sonic 2 music (Emerald Hill, Super Mech Egg and the common boss battle thats it, I found the rest fair or annoying, screw you Wing Fortress zone. I hate your music :P)

Sonic 3 on its own is how can I say this...

Bland. 

The 1st stage didn't have anything memorizable or catchy. It was more or less an introduction song if not anything else.

The 2nd stage's music was awesome. 

The third stage's music was not bad

The 4th stage's music was weird

The 5th stage's music was extreme. I loved that song so much that I played that stage twenty times over just to hear the music.

The 6th stage's music was dull.

Boss stage's music was cool.

Mini-boss stage's music was dull. 

Final Boss stage's music was nothing special.

Comparitively:

Sonic 2

1st  stage's music was memorable and was remixed so many times that it isn't funny. 

2nd stage's music was catchy and you could listen to it for awhile...

3rd stage's music was pretty good. 

4th stage's music was memorable, catchy, extreme, and one that you could listen to for hours on end (I did). I

5th stage's music was not bad.

6th stage's music was awesome and creepy. 

7th stage's music was dull

8th stage's music was awesome (the beat...the music...it's catchy).

9th stage's music was cool. 

10th stage's music was sort of good. 

11th stage's music was pretty awesome.

Boss stage's music was totally awesome. You could do anything with it. 

Final Boss stage's music was Pretty awesome. 

It's obvious that you could dance to a few of these songs. 

And then 

Hidden Palace Zone music (aka it was on the sound test on Sonic 2) was somber and awesome...

I love Sonic 2's music score.

you won't change my mind, and Angel Island zone act 2 is awesome. The final boss is creepy. I already told you, apart from those 3 exception, I dislike Sonic 2 music

Cloud, I'm extending the tourney another week, to the 19th. We usually gather around two dozen votes in each poll, but this one has only attained half of what we usually see. Once it's featured in the next telegram, it should attract more voters, which should make for a fairer outcome. :)

Sonic 3 wins alone. But with Knuckles added in, it's the best Sonic game ever,

I have to go with Sonic 2 it had some of my favorite music and nothing beats Chemical Plant Zone.

Sonic 2. Because (despite one scrapped level) it was a complete game.

Sonic 3 was rushed and you had to buy a lock-on (aka Sonic & Knuckles) to get the complete game. Though, the full game was superior to Sonic 2. Sonic 3 (imo) gets taken down a notch because it was rushed.
