Sonic would win of course, since he'd just do a spin dash and slice the trainer's head off and then the pokemon would all run around in circles showered in the blood spewing from Ash Ketchum's arteries, confused and lost without guidance, until they run into eachother and fall unconscious.

Yes, I'm evil. To it's credit, Pokemon is probably one of the best RPG series out there. Even more goodness for it: It's better that the demo for the xbox360 Sonic game. ANYTHING is.

Then pikacu get's pwnd. Well, unless he uses agility, then maybe he'll just get beaten, since the term pwnd is reserved only for extreme cases.

It depends on which of all those 493 pokemon would confront Sonic. Sonic might be the fastest thing alive, but speed is not all that matters. Shedinja can only be damaged by super effective attacks (Fire, Flying, Psychic and 2 more I don't remember) and Sonic has no such attack (or does he? Sonic Tornado maybe...)

I agree and I find it amazing that the best selling RPG out there has a story whose quality is worse than even that of Sonic Heroes!

Maybe Eggman could be a trainer and let Sonic out of a Pokeball, and command him, so it'd be a "fair fight".DoctorEggman

Yes, it's true, no sonic games so far have had blood.  Sonic characters would win since they all just need to keep one ring, while the Poke'mon only have limited supplies.  And to keep Next Gen Sonic from being T for Teen, No blood spewed from Sonic when Mephiles killed him...soniciscool15

I don't know if Sonic would fit in a ball. His ego is too inflated and his head would get stuck.

Oh, and I don't know about a worse story than Sonic Heroes. I'd say Red/Blue version blue Sonic Heroes storyline out of the water (No REAL SUPER POWER OF TEAMWORK *cringe*, 'nuff said.)

Sonic has a pretty good chance against the smaller pokemon but he might have to go supersonic when fighting a legendary pokemon. Unless amy ends up being his trainer, then that would be like

"Sonic forget the pikachu thing and use " kissykissy" attack on me." :)
