Well... I feel kinda crappy now. So uhhh... Thanks.:(
Just type your own.:(

None of the above. All those suck. You want underated?
Sonic Triple Trouble
Sega Game Gear (and Master System). Easily Sonic's best 8 bit game. It's fast. It's fun. There's great powerups, the level design is great and Tails has submarine.
Also Tails Adventure
It might be slower, more exploration based, but it's the one time in the Sonic series it worked. Tails has a great Metroid/Zelda esque type of adventure where he uses an arsenal of unique items to traverse the landscape to fend off a bird army.
Both of these along with Sonic CD make the Gems collection worthwhile.
Might wanna replace one of those poll choices with an "Other" option. ;)
Without a doubt, Sonic Riders. Only those who have played it extensively truly know how great of a racer it really is. I'll leave it at that.
Runner-ups would include...
- Sonic Championship (An odd fit for the franchise, but a decent fighter, regardless. Official review coming soon.)
- Tails' Skypatrol (I realize nearly everyone out there hates this one, but I enjoyed the challenge, the ideas behind it, and the graphics and BGM were really nice. The more you play, the faster the pace can get along with your familiarity with the level design. Don't get frustrated and give up within the first minute of play like so many others have done. Infinite continues are there for a purpose. Just stick with it. In the end, what actually bothered me was the length of the game: five levels. Really? Still, I'd advise everyone to formulate their own opinions rather than being influenced by the large majority that loathe Skypatrol's guts and throw them in a blender for their pet hampster. Yes, that was random.)
- Knuckles' Chaotix (It's been years since I've had a go with Chaotix, so my impressions are somewhat vague. Although I wasn't a huge fan of the tether concept, the music was fantastic, and even emotional. Gotta love that mid-'90s atmosphere and color palette, too. This is most likely sonicPHC's "most underrated" pick, and I wouldn't be surprised if he chose it as so.)
It all depends by the meaning you give to underrated.
If its by unknown good games, Tails Adventures. A different and unique spinoff with RPG elements and a large durability for a GG title.
If you mean by underscore. Sonic Heroes and Riders.
Chaotix had a fairly high reception, along with others.SMario64
Not universally, but there are quite a few staunch supporters out there, regardless...
*Looks at poll* Your joking right? I thought it was most underrated, not a "Biggest piece of crap SEGA has ever s*** out" poll.Soniczero1993
That's what I thought. Under rated means,"decent game that no one played." (I have an entire union devoted to such games) Not "piece of garbage with bad gameplay that obsessed fans like just cause Sonic's face is slapped on it."
I would say Sonic Spinball. Not that I hate pinball or anything though.TAMKFan
Well Spinball is especially bad on the Game Gear. The Genesis version is at best, adequate but the GG version has horrid graphics, awful sound and flighty controls and I sadly played that one.
