Texas has an 0-12 record on the road versus the other 3 AL playoff teams(Min, TB, and NY). I have a hard time seeing them getting past Tampa without home field advantage. I think they are a fun team to watch though, and wouldn't mind seeing them advance.
I would like to see Texas win because it's taken them so long and finally they've made it to the post-season, but I just don't see them getting by Tampa. So I'll root for Texas, but won't be shocked if they get swept.
Uh oh, my Twins are gonna face the Yanks. All I know is that our starting pitchers better get it together. Im not worried about their offense though. I think the Rangers have a chance and it would be awesome if they won this series since it would be their first time ever to win a playoff series.
Texas win 5-1. Lee pitched great outside of the first. I said he might be able to steal game one. He didn't steal it, but pitched very well and gave his team a chance to win.
Haha, I don't have anything against the Rays but I hope the Rangers close them out just so they can finally win a postseason series. They're the feel-good story of the playoffs.
The first game of the postseason was a joke in Tampa, glad to see a real crowd show up in Arlington, but i am disappointed in that weak bunting hanging around the stadium, someone is either lazy and/or cheap......
