Oh he's gone. He is reportedly being offered 4 mil a year and will get a 6 mill signing bonus. That's 10 mill year one, and 4 mill a year for the duration of his contract. Kansas is only giving him 1.5 mill and he now has nothing else to prove there. Kansas would have to top that offer and quite frankly they won't. OK state has a big advantage in things like this because they have one of the richest people in the country as a booster who gives more money to his school than any other billionare so what he wants he gets. It will be simple for Self, go back to your old school for more money and be average, or stay at Kansas for less money and be a contender, cause they won't be able to match Ok St offer

he deserves that hype. Rose was on and off in the game but when he's on, he's amazing. He has so much potential and regardless of this game, he's a still top two pick. CDR though...i don't even know what to say
Derek Rose had a helluva game regardless of one missed Free Throw.. He is a great player and still has his whole NBA career ahead of him
plus you cant pin the whole game on Rose, If they woulda left that one shot as a 3 pointer and not take that point off then it woulda been like he hit that last last free throw anyway.. If anything Taggart choked.. he only had 2 points and played almost tha whole 2nd half
People who don't play the game are so easy to cry 'choke'. Rose played incredibly well in the Second Half. CDR? Did a bang up job the whole game. It's been said before, but two things were needed to win that game even with the missed free throws: A foul in the back court before the shot got off or a stoppage of the clock to get the defense set. To say choke is to put the blame on those two when they were the ones that got them there in the first place. Know about the game before you criticize the players, pimp.
Okay, people saying only if Rose hit one more free thow. What happen if Kansas play like they where in the against unc? There a lot of things that could of happen or should of happen but it didn't. It is over, and KU won.
I think Calipari should take a lot of the blame. He made a few pretty bad decisions and remember he said they will make them when it mattered most. By the time all was said and done, Rose had played 45 minutes and CDR 42, playing that many minutes not only took it's toll at the line, but in overtime as well. All Kansas had to do was sub in and out with fresh bodies. That said, Chalmers' shot was amazing.
Rose didn't choke. Calipari choked when he didn't order his team to foul before they even got the shot off. Sure he "said" they tried to foul, but if that's the case, why not foul on the inbound? Why let them run the ball all the way up court right into a set play to get Chalmers the shot.

Think you are right, whoever said if you play in a d1 then you should be able make at least 75 or 80 % of FT. There no excuse of not making FT. It the same spot, same distance, and you can fit two basketballs inside the rim. I think most of them should be able to make it with your eyes close
