I disagree. As long as Oklahoma and Florida win out, there will be no doubt that the 2 best teams will be meeting in the national title game. And I'm an Ohio State fan, do you have any idea how hard it is for me admit Florida is one of the best teams in the country?

I go to Ohio State. And what if Florida doesn't win out? What is Oklahoma loses again? When you don't have two undefeated teams playing, its a mess.

To a degree, yes. If both OU and UF lose their conference title games, then in my opinion, it has to be PSU and USC. Assuming USC wins its conference and Alabama loses somewhere along the way, maybe to Auburn. I dont believe a team should get the opportunity to play for the BCS title without first winning its conference. If Alabama wins its conference, then it should be Alabama/PSU. PSU smacked the same team that beat USC, so PSU should hold trump over USC. I live about 10 minutes from campus. But I didnt go to OSU, I went to ODU over in Bexley. Or at least I think they consider that Bexley.

How can you say there's no question OU is in the top 2? They got beat by 10 on a nuetral site to Texas.

It all doesn't matter anyway, the Florida Gators are the best team in College Football and are going to win the National Championship.

Either way, the top 5 teams are going to entertain the hell out everyone. They are all so good they can make any game worth watching. yeah, there will be debate about which 1 loss team is better then the other 1 loss teams, but the only way to know that is if everyone played each other. I'll settle for any of the teams take on Alabama in the title game. It would be pretty funny if Bama loses and then there will be a controversy about who is the real team to beat.

i'm a USC fan and even I admit Florida is the #1 team in the country right now. And if we're going to play the "PSU beat the team USC lost to game" then you should include Penn State losing to Iowa who is actually worse then Oregon State. Also USC demolished Ohio State while Penn State struggled to beat them. In summary we've needed a playoff system for awhile now but the bcs people aren't going to change that

If Florida and Alabama win out, whoever wins the SEC Championship out of the two definitely deserves a shot at the National Title. As for the other team, I see either Oklahoma/Texas winning the Big 12 and getting in. Now being a Gators fan, I'll be rooting for Florida to win.

It's a mess. I think there will be 2 or 3 1 loss teams shafted this year.

I will never understand why so many people recognize the BCS champion as being legit. Until there is a playoff then there is no such thing as a national champion, just be happy that you get to watch good exhibition bowl games.

This will probebly be our rose bowl match up. Which really isn't fair because its almost a home game for USC.

All southern teams play 'home" games in their conference BCS games. LSU in the Sugar, USC and UCLA in the Rose, and Miami in the Orange. The exception would be the Fiesta. Being from the north, I would love to see bowl games played where its cold. The way the SEC and Big XII teams are structured gives them a huge advantage in bowl games. Spread offenses with all that speed just doesnt work well when you have to compete against the elements as well. If you look at southern NFL teams who have to travel north in December and January, the evidence is obvious that it gives northern teams a clear advantage.

Nobody wants to go up North to sit in a cold stadium, it's mainly for the executives. As for the spread offenses with speed, what about Penn State, they looked pretty good Saturday in the cold and snow on the field.

Michigan State doesn't exactly have a very good defense.

I 2nd that notion. OSU almost put 50 up against them, and their offense is just flat out horrible.

They're incredibly one-dimensional. If not for Ringer, they wouldn't have won half as many games.

Would definately be a total joke if Texas wins out and gets screwed out of the title game. Forget whats going on now, just remember this between Texas and Okl: Texas 45, Okl 35 at a neutral site on Oct 11th, thats all that matters between those too.

Texas beat OU head to head though. If they beat Oklahoma state this weekend then there are going to be alot of angry fans no matter what.
