There're 0-8 and 4 of there 5 starters are currently injured. There starting 5 is possibly the worst in nba history right now and somehow they tease us by keeping a game against the celtics close down the stretch and a game against the 76ers close in the final seconds but no win :( John Wall 4 2010

Last year they got off to a good start and were looking like a playoff team, but they eventually lost it for some reason. Now they lost Vince Carter, all they have is Devin Harris and Brook Lopez. They still have a lot oftalented youngplayers with potential like Terrence Williams, Bobby Simmons and Yi Jianlian, but their bad luck with injuries just won't stop. This is not the Nets year, but I guess it's good for the young players and the rookies to get more playing time so they can become more experienced.

If Devin Harris and Yi weren't injured right now, I'm sure that they'd havea few wins.

They're looking like the Wizards last year when they lost their entire starting lineup. It's going to be tough until a couple of the starters return.

i dont think this is going to encourage Lebron to head to New Jersey. Well, they might end up getting the 1st pick in the draft next summer.

like i said this losing streak there on should not effect lebron when NJ had 4/5 of there starters out with injuries(one with swine flu) and anyways the Nets were expected to be one of the worse teams in the league anyways no one is expecting playoffs....unlike the knicks

I will be REALLY surprised is King James joins either the Knicks or the Nets. I mean, if he cares about winning, which he says he does, he will pass those two places up for greener pastures. I personally would like to see him join the Heat. That would be awesome to see him and D-Wade filling ESPN with highlight dunks on the same team. And I think they give him a much better chance to win than NJ or NY does. Lebron playing with Harris would be pretty dope too though I must say.

NJ have a PG and a C and enough money to sign Lebron and a Joe Jonson or Carlos Boozer or Bosh or just about anyone if they make the right moves.

oh yeah, I forgot about the Russian might be buying the team and then he could afford to sign Lebron, Kobe, KG, Dwight Howard, Dirk, D-Wade, and pretty much the entire Redeem Team if he wants and just pay the Luxury taxes with the loose change in his sofa!

I have a bad feeling that the Bulls are going to have the distinction of being the first team to lose to the Nets (they play in about a week)...the Bulls always play bad against the Nets.

I'd rather the NETS not win a game this season and at least be relevant. :) We all know they suck, so winning a few games this season isn't compelling.

Wow, Nets are 0-18 now.

I honestly thought the Nets would beat the Mavericks tonight. The Mavs have proven that they are a good team, but also a team who manages to lose to some really bad teams. Case in point...a few games ago, the Mavs lost to Golden State. Only 6 players on Golden State played the entire game and the Mavs still lost. Also, Mavericks lost badly against the Nets last season on the road and Devin Harris scored 41 points that night.

I doubt it, the next 5 games they have (Bobcats, Knicks, Bulls, Warriors, Pacers) are all winnable. They should win at least one of those games.

If you were to bet against them in every game for the straight up loss, not talking point spreads or anything, even if they win a few, wouldn't you think that you would come out on top in the end?

Beating the Nets, so easy a caveman can do it!

Boy what happened to this team? The Knicks have 4 wins and aren't even in last b/c of Jersey.

glad they got their first win, i dont care for losing streaks but no team should go this long without winning their first game, now i can stop feeling sorry for them and start hating and rooting against them. ;)
