What is the best NFL rivalry today, and of all time? Back when the Seahawks were in the AFC West, we had some great rivalries with Denver and Oakland.

[QUOTE="X360PS3AMD05"]Egals, Cowgirls lately. BobblesYeah. Of all time, I'd put Cowboys vs Redskins near the top.
While you're at it put the whole NFC East. Too much history and great games, especially the Superbowl era. But out of the 4, Redskins/Cowboys is the greatest.
Although lately Patriots/Colts and Ravens/Steelers have been great this decade.
For all time, I would definitely include Cowboys vs 49ners and Dolphins vs Bills (or Jets) on the list.

Well I gotta say, it seems as if (enter NFCE team here) vs Dallas is a bigger rivalry than any of the others in the East. Like Dallas vs Egals has more hate to it than NYG vs Egals or Skins vs Egals. Same with the others.Chargers/Broncos is getting good with the constant fighting for the AFC West crown. Our rivalry with the Raiders is fading after our 13th consecutive victory over them. Nobody cared for the Seahawks when they were in the AFC West. HurricaneHugoHow so?
I am a member of raider nation and don't hate KC at all. I have some issues with the Browns however. And the Bills for beating the Raiders in 1994. The Raiders lead going into the 4th....UGH!Chiefs vs Raiders
These two fan bases hate each other with a passion. If both teams were good, this would be the #1 rivalry in the NFL.

HurricaneHugoI kinda get a feeling that nobody really cares about west coast rivalries other than the fans who are fans of those teams, this goes for both nfc and the afc. the only teams worth talking about out west are the chargers and just recently the cardinals
east coast bias? in baseball yes but not in basketball or even soccer for that matter
bias has nothing to do with football teams out west, there all terrible. thats why i think nobody cares

The Seahawks were never really a threat in the AFC West and it was really easy to kick them out when it came to division re-alignment. The Chargers, Broncos, Raiders, and Chiefs all have been in the same division since the inauguration of the AFL so any other team in the division will be just secondary rivals.
Today: Colts vs Patriots, not even close.
All-Time: Could still be Colts vs Patriots tbh, no other rivalry involved the 2 best QBs of the league at the same time for so many years and both teams dominating so much during the same era. It just doesnt get better than that.

You're asking about rivalries, not competitiveness. Seahawks never really had that one opponent that you just HAD to attend. Mostly due to geography, Seattle teams generally lack rivals. A Seahawk game against Raiders back in the AFC days, wasn't any more exciting than any other game. Same is true for when the Rams, 49ers, and Cardinals come to town today - there's no extra buzz that you'd normally expect from a rivalry.
It's not just football. Mariners don't really have a rival, either. What games are always the hottest tickets each season? It's not when the A's or Angels are playing; it's when the Yankees come to Safeco.
The only true rivalry Seattle ever had was Sonics vs Blazers.

I guess I am just a little too young. I remember Raiders vs Seahawks being a big rivalry. Please Log In to post.
