who cares? this just another easy W for pusweather
i just wanna see him fight pacman
floyd to answer your question, shane is ft was 5 years ago but he's too old to compete with floyds speed now
I hope Mosley punishes himX360PS3AMD05I'm hoping for Mosley to do just that, but I think Mayweather will probably pot shot and run his way to a decision.
Yup, beat up some washed up fighters and look like the man, good job.X360PS3AMD05Funny thing is mayweather said people would say this after he won.
If you look at Mayweather's career, he always picks who he wants to fight. Whenever someone steps up, he ducks them and fight them another time when they're not in their prime any more. Did you see Moseley and Mayweather's faces at the end of the fight, it was spot less. If I just watch the post fight ring interview I would have not known if the fight started or not. I hope the Pacquaio vs Mayweather happens by the end of this year.
Mayweather has won 6 titles. That means he had to beat 6 champs. I really don't see your point. After tonight he has beat the welter weight champ 3 times. Not his fault he makes everyone look like crap.If you look at Mayweather's career, he always picks who he wants to fight. Money Mayweather ftw. He just proved to all the haters that he is legit. He was the aggressor. He dominated. He's the best. Pacquiao has no chance against this guy. Mayweather dictates and controls everything. In round 2 when he was hurt, he proved that he his tough and can handle adversity... then he went on to completely outclass the guy. What did Mosley do after round 2? Nothing. Floyd made Shane look like he didn't even belong in the ring.
lol, so what are people going to say now? Mayweather didn't run, instead Mosley was the one backing up. So much for Mayweather being a coward...
lol, Mayweather is the best. He did exactly what all the doubters wanted him to do. There's no reason at all to bash him anymore. :D
If Pacman is no go then lets see Paul Williams vs Mayweather, but I doubt he takes that fight. Master_LiveWilliams has no defense. Mayweather would destroy him.
[QUOTE="Master_Live"]If Pacman is no go then lets see Paul Williams vs Mayweather, but I doubt he takes that fight. RonJonx10I think it was more do to Mosley just being 38 and had no gas in the tank.Typical excuse. Or could it be.... that Mayweather just made Mosley look bad because he is so good? That just might be what happened. Oh well, if some people won't give credit to Mayweather now they never will. He could do the same to Pacquiao and people still wouldn't give him credit.
[QUOTE="Doolz2024"]Mosley was 38 after round 2 thats what happened.Or Mayweather is just great. Like I said, the haters are never going to give Mayweather credit.Money Mayweather ftw. [QUOTE="Doolz2024"]Or Mayweather is just great. Like I said, the haters are never going to give Mayweather credit. Watch the fight close Mosley was already winded into the 3round and he was not even working that hard. Thats age right there.Excuses, excuses, excuses. Keep 'em comin'![QUOTE="RonJonx10"]Mosley was 38 after round 2 thats what happened.RonJonx10
I saw a guy who wanted to punch, but couldn't because the man in front of him was simply to damn good. Mosley wasn't suddenly incapable of throwing after round 2, though Mayweather certainly made it look that way, didn't he? :D
edit in response to your edit- Yeah and he looked his age because of the guy he was fighting.
On the other hand, Mosley looked 10 years younger when he fought the human heavy bag (Margarito)
Funny how who you fight has a lot to do with how you fight, huh? Are you now starting to realize that Mayweather is the reason Shane looked as bad as he did? Or do you still insist that he suddenly went from great in round 2 to suddenly too old and completely incompetent in round 3 on because of his age? lol, you really believe that?
[QUOTE="Doolz2024"]Funny how Shane went from great and a serious threat pre-fight to too old after the fight. RonJonx10No I think most new this could be an issue. And it was he was a 38 year old fighter. If Mosley was going to be like say B-hop and defy age then he could of won. But Mosely will most likely retire. He knows his age has caught him and he can not beat father time. When you are tired and breathing hard in round 3 and have not even worked that hard time to hang the gloves up for sure.No pre-fight people weren't saying Mosley would be too old. People were saying he would give Floyd a tough fight and some even gave him a legit chance to win.

A 5 year ago Mosley would of been able to finish him and knock him out when he had Floyd badley hurt. A 38 year old Shane was done no gas in the tank after that.Mosley had plenty of gas in the tank in round 2 but couldn't finish Mayweather off because Mayweather did exactly what you should to when you're hurt: Clinch. If Mayweather hadn't have clinched, Mosley would've scored a knockout.I think it was more do to Mosley just being 38 and had no gas in the tank.Typical excuse. I dont think floyd is scared of manny, he seems more like scared of tarnishing his perfect recordThis is exactly it, he wants to go down as the best undefeated fighter in history so avoids the dudes he feels thinks have a good chance against him. He isnt confident enough that he could beat Manny and just doesnt wanna gamble his record. I for one think Floyd would beat Manny but it just up to him to grow some balls and for Manny to stop being a little girl and take a few needles.Regardless of age Mayweather would have won. Excuses are lame. And mosly ducked mayweather long long ago.

"All of a sudden" haha just don't visit forums and pretend you don't hear it before the fight then come back and say "oh what's your excuse now?" Everyone already suspected Mosley being in the twilight of his career. Do we have to go back and post the radio interview where they called him out?X360PS3AMD05All I heard before the fight was that Mosley was going to give Mayweather a tough fight. But now that Mayweather dominates, then suddenly Shane is too old. Like I said, he wasn't too old pre-fight. He was going to be the best, toughest opponent Mayweather has faced... but then Mayweather dominates, and now everyone is like "oh Shane is just too old". Nope. Mayweather proved he is just too good. But as I expected if it was a dominant win by Mayweather, the excuse from haters would be Mosley's "too old" No credit to Mayweather still. All people wanted was for him to fight and beat a legit welterweight. He did so in dominant fashion, and people still will not give him credit. Like I said in another post, he could beat Pacquiao and people would still make excuses. Pre-fight many would say Pacquiao would win, blah, blah, blah. Then if Mayweather dominated, the excuse would be "oh Manny is too small." lol, see the pattern here? Before this fight, Mosley was great and a serious threat. Then he got too old suddenly once Mayweather started doing his thing and dominating. Pre fight Pacquiao will be a serious threat, but then if Mayweather wins he'll suddenly become nothing more than a guy who is "too small" to compete. Hmmm, he didn't have a problem with Cotto or Clottey. But if he got beat by Mayweather, he'd suddenly go from great to too small.
Anyway, like I said in another post, funny how who you fight has a lot to do with how you fight. Mosley was 37 when he fought Margarito (the walking heavy bag) and looked like he was in his 20's and at the top of his game. Then he fights a great fighter a year later, and gets completely outclassed. Oh, but the only reason he got beat was because of his age, it had NOTHING at all to do with the guy he was fighting. Nothing at all. :|
Time to give Mayweather credit. He did exactly what the haters wanted him to do and then some. Not only did he dominate a legit welterweight who is still good, Mayweather stood right there in front of him and beat him to the punch everytime, Outthrowing and easily outlanding him. lol, when was the last time Mayweather outthrew someone in a fight? If anything he gave Shane a better chance by standing there and not backing up, yet Mosley wouldn't do anything. He looked tense the entire night and even afraid toward the end. A few times when Mayweather hit him he didn't react too well to the punches. Maybe that's why he wasn't aggressive.
lol, you guys will still make excuses no matter what. Mayweather was there in front of Mosley all night, yet Shane still couldn't do anything aside from round 2. Mayweather outclassed him, showed more toughness, and he handled being legitimately hurt from a guy that can punch well. Then he goes on to dominate and make the guy look like he doesn't even want to be there. Mosley basically quit by the end of the fight.

i would give Mayweather credit if he beat Mosley in his prime not a 38 year old Mosley who's most recent win was against the human punching bag Margaritoi would give Mayweather credit if he beat Mosley in his prime not a 38 year old Mosley who's most recent win was against the human punching bag Margaritospliffstar12Mosley was still great going into the fight and was regarded as a top welterweight. But again, now that Mayweather dominates, the guy goes from a top opponent to old and terrible. Funny, after the fight, guys like Oscar De La Hoya, Mosley's trainer Naazim Richardson and even Mosley himself were giving Floyd credit for the dominance. "He lost, to a better man" said DLH. link
So yeah, these guys are giving him credit, Mosley's trainer is telling him to stop making excuses (also in that linked article) and after the fight, Mosley was giving Mayweather credit for what he was able to do. He didn't complain or make excuses about his age. He just gave Floyd his credit. Some people just aren't going to give Mayweather credit when it's finally due, even when his opponent, and others like DLH are, though.
And @ Put_in_Kitna -- It wouldn't let me quote your post for some reason, but yeah... kinda hard to say Mayweather is ducking Pacquiao when he says things like: "if he wants to fight it's not hard to find me" "i'm going to continue fighting the best"
Yep, he's ducking Pacquiao alright. Even though he's clearly stating otherwise, lol.
All he's asking for now is for Pacquiao to take a few simple tests. If agrees to what Mosley had no problem agreeing to, we got a fight. If Pacquiao has nothing to hide, he'll accept these terms. Surely he will... or will he pass up a 20 million + payday because he's afraid of a few random tests? We shall see.
