All I heard before the fight was that Mosley was going to give Mayweather a tough fight. But now that Mayweather dominates, then suddenly Shane is too old. Like I said, he wasn't too old pre-fight. He was going to be the best, toughest opponent Mayweather has faced... but then Mayweather dominates, and now everyone is like "oh Shane is just too old". Nope. Mayweather proved he is just too good. But as I expected if it was a dominant win by Mayweather, the excuse from haters would be Mosley's "too old" :cry: No credit to Mayweather still. All people wanted was for him to fight and beat a legit welterweight. He did so in dominant fashion, and people still will not give him credit. Like I said in another post, he could beat Pacquiao and people would still make excuses. Pre-fight many would say Pacquiao would win, blah, blah, blah. Then if Mayweather dominated, the excuse would be "oh Manny is too small." lol, see the pattern here? Before this fight, Mosley was great and a serious threat. Then he got too old suddenly once Mayweather started doing his thing and dominating. Pre fight Pacquiao will be a serious threat, but then if Mayweather wins he'll suddenly become nothing more than a guy who is "too small" to compete. Hmmm, he didn't have a problem with Cotto or Clottey. But if he got beat by Mayweather, he'd suddenly go from great to too small. :lol:Anyway, like I said in another post, funny how who you fight has a lot to do with how you fight. Mosley was 37 when he fought Margarito (the walking heavy bag) and looked like he was in his 20's and at the top of his game. Then he fights a great fighter a year later, and gets completely outclassed. Oh, but the only reason he got beat was because of his age, it had NOTHING at all to do with the guy he was fighting. Nothing at all. :|
Time to give Mayweather credit. He did exactly what the haters wanted him to do and then some. Not only did he dominate a legit welterweight who is still good, Mayweather stood right there in front of him and beat him to the punch everytime, Outthrowing and easily outlanding him. lol, when was the last time Mayweather outthrew someone in a fight? If anything he gave Shane a better chance by standing there and not backing up, yet Mosley wouldn't do anything. He looked tense the entire night and even afraid toward the end. A few times when Mayweather hit him he didn't react too well to the punches. Maybe that's why he wasn't aggressive.
lol, you guys will still make excuses no matter what. Mayweather was there in front of Mosley all night, yet Shane still couldn't do anything aside from round 2. Mayweather outclassed him, showed more toughness, and he handled being legitimately hurt from a guy that can punch well. Then he goes on to dominate and make the guy look like he doesn't even want to be there. Mosley basically quit by the end of the fight.
i would give Mayweather credit if he beat Mosley in his prime not a 38 year old Mosley who's most recent win was against the human punching bag Margarito
