"The NBA and players have reached an agreement on a deal, source says. The season will start on Dec. 25."

Can't wait.

At least now I won't have to hear my friends whine about there being no basketball. Only thing I like is the playoffs.

So JML, do you think Da Bulls will be able to pull it off this year?

I'm hoping the Bulls can pick up another guy who can create his own shot somehow. I don't think they'll get the 1 seed..but I think the Eastern Finals will come down to the Bulls & Heat again. Once you get that far anything can happen.

Then again we still haven't even gone through free agency so who knows what the teams will even look like.

I really, really hope they beat out the Heat. I can't think of anyone I'd want to see win in the East other than the Bulls. Definitely OKC for the West.

I don't know if the Lakers will be the same without Phil Jackson, initially at least. He seemed like he was the spiritual leader of that team.

Not approved yet according to ESPN last I read. Also, I never watch NBA until after the NFL season is over...Even then I am not sure I can support the league anymore. What about those NBA guys playing overseas? DarkOfKnight
