No offense but do people actually watch tennis?torontomapleafs
I thought olympics is suppost to be amatuer?? Isn't Federer suppost to be pro or do they come under the same thing now?? Well done blake anyway, Andy Murray sucks! crappy GB tennis players.Sicario001
The only amateur from the US is the baseball team I believe everyone else is a professional.

 What? Man I'm depressed, I don't like seeing Federer on this downward spiral... it looks like he finally lost his edge after Wimbledon after all.Funkyhamster

Boxers are all amateurs as well.
I have a lot of respect for what he has achieved, I just don't like Federer very much though. Kinda glad his days of winning everything are over. I still think Sampras in his prime would have beat him on grass.Nick_JC1
Its funny because I feel much that same way about Roger... he is a super tennis player (no matter who beats him) but there is an aura about him which makes him a bit unlikable... He says respectful things about his opponents and is intelligent and able to converse in many languages as well, so I can't pinpoint at all what I dislike about him. But I always root against him.
To his credit though he did win a gold medal in mens doubles.
And Novak Djokavic easily defeated Blake for the bronze in singles.
I don't see what people would dislike or discredit about olympic tennis either as it is still similar matchups to all the other great tourneys.
