So I guess he's coming back after all. Smart choice.

I don't know if he can last a whole season again. I only want him to come back if he is sure he can finish a 16 game season.monkeytoes61he can and he still has a heck of an arm. He just needs a lot of protection :?
Injured guy got a surgery to fix an injury is breaking news?:?

"Favre had previously said he would need the surgery if he were going to play in 2010."
Getting the surgery means he's coming back to play another season. One of the greatest QB's to play in the NFL returning for another season = breaking news.

He likely would have needed it anyway.

Still, it's the only concrete news on his decision in a while.
Would changing the thread title appease you? :|

This just isn't what I would call BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!! The NFL season being canceled due to labor disputes, blockbuster trades involving multiple draft picks and pro bowl players, is breaking stuff. Injured guys getting surgeries to fix an injury isn't going to register much of a pulse.

K, Ignore the thread then.

[QUOTE="Zombl337"]well at least this year he hasnt said that. yet. but he still has time :P That is true. I think the best sign that he will play in 2010 is that fact he never left. Everyone on ESPN and NFL Network keep talking about Favre's "return" for another season. He never left; he still has 1 year left on his contract. Why does he ever say he is going to retire if he never does?!
