You know what I'm talking about. The Houston Heartbreakers. Who is to blame for the losses against the Colts and the Titans? Kris Brown? Or Gary Kubiak? Discuss.
I'm not sure who to choose on this one. Discuss what you think.

The Texans should have run another play. I blame Kubiak. A 49-yard field goal is definitely not a gimme.Jared2720I say Kris Brown. A 49 yard goal certainly isn't a gimme but Brown just shanked it badly. This season he seems to keep missing important kicks.
Kubiak.
That offense should have rolled the Titans. They have zero pass rush. He made poor play calls and tried to establish the running game against a very good run defense.
A kicker has one job and that is to kick. Brown has been very successful in the past, so it is expected for him to be able to make these type of kicks. I blame Brown. There wasn't much pressure coming at him; he should have been able to put it through the uprights.
[QUOTE="kozzy1234"]You do them in your back yard?A 49 yard kick is not that hard of a kick.

No of course not, but in the NFL if you are a field goal kicker, you need to be reliable on any field goals under 50 yards imo. Other players have so much to do and think about, a kicker only has one thing to practise and think about, thats kicking fieldgoals.
Anything over 50 yards is hit or miss, but under 50 yards I think a NFL kicker who gets paid big bucks should hit most of those.
Especially after I saw Jason Elam hit a 65 yard kick live in person years ago, alot of NFL kickers have no problems even with a 52 yard kick.
Yes a TD would have been nice in that situtation, but thats a very very makable FG.
