Mavs and Spurs have already proven that they know how to win playoff games, but i think the Mavs are the better team this year. The Mavs and Suns play wednesday though
As a mild Mavs fan, I've said it once and I'll say it again. I'd rather play the Suns in every round than the Spurs in one. The Suns are a dangerous regular season team; the Spurs are a tremendous post season threat to any team they go up against.

First of all, it was 2006 and second of all, it was the heat.
Not to be rude but he is posting his prediction and saying no at the same time. Hence the smiley face at the end. This guy wants the Bulls to win and I thought it was a clever post since nobody else had done anything like it.
Now, as for what I think, Mavs can totally win it this year. They are playing at a higher level (which they have been playing at almost all year) than any other team and I don't think there is a team out there right now that could take them in a seven game series (nor a five game series). Dirk is just killer and Josh Howard has turned into a prime time player. They have the players and the depth to do it and I really think this is their year. As usual there are teams that are good enough to get a win or two against them but as the Mavs have proved, when they lose, they come back the next game and turn it up a notch. Mavs are going to do it no matter who comes out of the East this year.
Well I certainly think after being so close last year and having to exprience losing in the NBA Finals last year, they willl have learned from that and be ready to win a Championship, so yes I think they will win it all this year
no, look at the pistons last year, best record in the league and they lost in the conference finals..the mavs will get to comfortable in the playoffs and fall
Uhm, I hope you watched the Suns comeback and beat Dallas in 2OT, mainly due to their MVP Steve Nash and their good Defense on the Dirk and Jason Terry. That was a great Defensive Effort. They have room to improv on D, but now that they have Amare back, it is a whole new ball game.
Yeah i agree last year in the final minute of the last heat game dirk was fouled at the last couple seconds and the 3 seconds later the buzzer went off and the Heat started celebrating

Oh my god i was so surprasied that Dallas lost to Golden State like the suckiest team in history. :( Sucky teams don't have two NBA championships. Last time I checked Dallas still had a fat zero.

they should have won last year. this time when they get screwed over a couple of games they'll keep their cool enough to win. thats the only thing that kept them from beating the heat last year.
