Yeah everyone thinks the Spurs are going to treat the Cavs like a bunch of school girls trying to beat an allstar team. How many people want the Cavs to upset just for that reason?

No because no one wants to see a 1 1/2 man team win the championship.  The half being Gibson because he isn't always there for his team but then again he is a rookie. So I'm going to go with the Spurs because it will take a team to win this years title and the Cavs random offense isn't going to cut it.

The Spurs are one of my favourite teams, so I wouldn't like to see that happen. Anyway, it is possible, but SA is the best defensive team in the league, and they proved their worth when they took care of the Suns, the best collective offensive team in the league (also one of my favourite clubs). If they can contain an entire team of offensive superstars, then they really shouldn't have a problem with just the one in Lebron, even if he is the best in the game.

you said that SA is the best defensive team in the league, they aren't. They are among the top in the league, but so are the Cavs. And the Cavs beat the Spurs both times they played durring the regular season. and lebron wasnt the only one to score in those games. and they also have larry hughes, gibson, gooden, and marshall that can be very effective offensively sometimes.

There is a chance, but the cavs has to be near perfect.

These teams mirror eachother pretty well... and to be perfectly honest this cavs teams is VERY similar to the 99 spurs that won the championship. The one with Robinson, when Tim was still a fresh face in the NBA.

We'll see...

I do, between the Suns and raps loosing and the fact Ottawa still hasn't shown up for the cup (except for game 3) this has been a boring past week or so.

Your favorite team is not the Spurs...its not the Cavs.  You have no favorite team.  Actually, your favorite team is whoever is 'hot' right now.  There is no such thing as a fan of....lets say 'Team A" who roots for 'Team B' just because he like one of the guys on the team...  You shouldn't be in "Sports Discussion".  I'm just being honest. Thats like me, a 76ers fan, rooting for Tim Duncan when I should be rooting for Andre Iguodala but I wont because I like Timmy too much because ESPN said I should.   AHHHH.

i hope the cavs win, not cos i like them or dislike spurs, but i like to see upsets (smaller team beating the bigger ones) and particularly for this year, i dont like the way spurs got to the final with their dirty play so to speak. cavs played it clean so good for them

The eastern conference is a complete joke.  The cavs wouldn't have even made it past the first round in the west.

I hope the Cavs whip them.  I can't stand the fact that most analysts feel that it's an open and shut case.  They beat the Pistons when they weren't supposed to.  The Spurs also seem to give off the impression every year that they are the only team that is entitled to win a title and that the other 29 teams are just a bunch undisciplined filler.

The Spurs have too much experience for the Cavs to handle.
