Yes im a huge Sanders fan, and watched all of his career, but Champ Bailey i think is a lil better overall, BECAUSE HE IS A GREAT TACKLER and Dieon couldnt tackle...

There ya have it, i expect some to dissagree, but if you had been around for Sanders's career and Baileys, then you would see the comparison....

Either way... they are the two best CB's ever... :)

I'm not sure yet, but it's not something too many people are going to completely disagree with.

No, Rod Woodson was the greatest corner ever with PIT in the '90s.

I would pick Ronnie Lott, he could kill someone with his hits. But he also played safety.

Though he may be, he will still lose to the best WR consistently for the same reason the best pitcher will consistently beat the best batter in baseball: one controls the play, the other reacts.

Tis true. Champ already makes a strong case at being the best.

Come on, people. Rod Wodson was the man. 71 INTs, the most INT return yards ever, the most INTs returned for TDs, DPotY in '93, the only player to return from ACL surgery in the same year, and he could tackle, unlike Deion. Not to mention Woodson made it to the Pro Bowl as a return man and safety. He's one of the best players of all time and is a lock for the Hall.

I thought we were just talking CB's only because I totally agree that Lott is better. WR's wouldn't even cross the field when they saw the guy! He was a stud!

The only saunders didn't have more into's is because they refuse to throw to his side of the feild which led saunders to say playing CB is getting boring. He is the GOAT of CB.

From what I have read Herb Addderley was pretty much the center piece for the Packers defence in the Lombardi days. Sure comparisons are hard but to place Champ on that pedestal requires a lot of research because we just don't know all that much about the older players. In the last 10 years, sure he is the top CB but for all time I don't know, and I can't say that.

Ronnie Lott played CB for a few years and did a VERY good job at it. He could play anywhere he needed to as a DB.

Bailey is a great player no doubt, but NO ONE could shut down an entire side of the field like Deion Sanders. Greatest CB of at least the last 3 decades, I'm a little hazy before that.
