Congratultions Red Sox, I cant believe we let this guy walk.

Redsox fans i just want to tell you how good a pitcher you guys got and congratulate you on the pick up, this isnt the first time john smoltz has had surgery evry time he has, he has bounced back the following year.

He is aging and getting old but, in the last 4 years he hasnt had an era over 3.50 he also is a great closer, if you choose to put him in the pin, he had 150 saves as a brave and was very good.

He is also the best post-season pitcher in the history of MLB he has never lost a game 7 and has the lowest ERA for ppl who has started as many games as him in the post season or more. and we know the braves were in the post season for 15 strait years.

So congrats on the pick up, i refuse to watch the braves this season for letting this guy go, and i'll be rooting for the sox.

Busted his ass to be in baseball shape? What is baseball shape? You don't have to be in shape to be successful at baseball. Manny Ramirez is not in shape, hell, CC Sabbathia isn't in shape. That doesn't prevent them from being successful at what they do (hitting and pitching respectively).

Outside of cheating and off the field issues, he represents everything that is wrong with professional sports.
