Its the top story. Ill link the story in another post because the HTML is screwed up.

In the minds of many evaluators, including PFW resident draft analyst Nolan Nawrocki, there is a considerable gap between QBs JaMarcus Russell and Brady Quinn.

The article says quinn will be a better QB. Who do people here like?

And I say that Jamarcus will be the better QB. I feel that Quinn was overhyped, and does not play well in big games.

I don't think he wants to be #1. Who wants to be in the Raiders?

A few years ago who would want to be a Saint? Turnarounds happen. Who knows the Raiders could be a QB and OL(they've finally wised up and moved Gallery back to the right side) and maybe a RB away from being a true competitor.

If the Raiders only had some passion they'd be going to the playoffs every year like they used to (and a new o-line wouldn't be so bad either.)

no chance quinn goes higher than russel, Quinn should be playing in a girls league, russel looks like a giant murdering convict... who would you rather choose?

No chance, Quinn is slipping. The media is finally starting to realize what the rest of us have known for years: QUINN ISN'T THAT GOOD!

Stanton was awesome at the workout days and is said to be a much better team leader even though MSU football was bad. Stanton will go high in the draft this year believe me.

The only reason Brady Quinn is dropping in the draft is his big game performance. MSU was leading 37-21 going into the 4th. Not only did they completely blow the lead, but Stanton threw a interception with 2:53 seconds left. Now there is no doubt that Stanton is talented, however he should not go higher then Quinn.

I'll give this one to you. Nice to see that some others on here really do have some sports knowledge. If from Detroit and I myself would take Quinn with that second pick but the lions most likely will not be taking a QB this year, fire MIllin. We have Kitna for one more season then his contract expires and hes not that good anyways so i am having a very hard time understanding why the stupid lions dont want to sign on our future QB, a major part of are team is still young guys right out of college and adding a college QB would probably work very well.

Quinn is actually lucky that he wont be picked #1 and set up for failure in Oakland. I dont see Quinn getting past the Vikings at #7 but if he does, he can fall to the second half of the draft(Chiefs maybe?). Quinn will be the better pro QB.

If Quinn is around at #7 I'll be surprised and I would be SHOCKED if the Vikings didn't pickup Quinn. The Vikings will go with Jackson if they have to, but they've made it clear they'd rather have someone to compete with Jackson for the starting job and they're interested in Quinn. After Matt Leinart fell to #10 last year I can't imagine teams will be passing on QBs again.

I always find it interesting how everyone wonders who will go when in the draft and they argue it by how good a player they are. Granted quality of a player and potential factors into it but it’s not some BCS ranking where wins and stats get calculated. There is only one vote for each spot and that’s the team picking. Personally I wouldn’t have a problem with someone picking Quinn over Russell. People act like these are obvious choices or something. Since when have drafts been easy things to call? Look at all the high picks that everyone patted teams on the back for making that totally bombed? I remember picks last year that everyone would say “oh player X is the best player at position Y” and that was the last time I heard that guys name :P
